The FBI arrested 10 Russian spies for getting close to Hillary Clinton during the Uranium One negotiations

October 20, 2017

I do not know how many people will remember this but back in 2010 10 Russian spies were arrested and then sent back to Russia in a prisoner exchange. Something always seemed fishy to me about this deal, especially how quickly after their arrest they were returned to Russia, but the story quickly disappeared and we heard nothing more about it. Until now…

It turns out, according to this story, these spies were getting close to Hillary Clinton during the Uranium One negotiations and they were arrested one day before Bill Clinton gave his $500,000 speech in Moscow. Here is more:

In 2010, the FBI arrested ten Russian spies as part of “Operation Ghost Stories.” According to a top FBI official, the agency had to act quickly because the “deep cover” agents had come very close to “a sitting US cabinet member.” They had already infiltrated then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s inner circle, befriending a Democratic fundraiser close to Clinton. Clinton’s Russian connections have attracted more scrutiny following recent revelations of an FBI investigation into Russian company Rosatom, which gained control of 20 percent of U.S. uranium in the 2010 Uranium One deal.

“We were becoming very concerned,” Frank Figliuzzi, the FBI’s assistant director of counterintelligence, told the BBC in 2012. “They were getting close enough to a sitting US cabinet member that we thought we could no longer allow this to continue.”

We do not know for sure whether or not Hillary Clinton was the target of the Russian spies although it seems highly likely. But that does not matter because what is important here is the fact the FBI was investigating Russia bribery and collusion with United States companies and the Clinton Foundation at the very same time Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were negotiating the Uranium One deal and kept the investigation secret, apparently in order to let the deal go through.

The FBI kept the investigation secret, even when it would have stopped the disastrous Uranium One approval. There is still no explanation as to why it was kept secret at this vital point.

And the kicker:

Robert Mueller, the current head of the investigation into Russian connections to President Donald Trump, led the FBI at the time, and some have started calling for his recusal from the Trump-Russia investigation, because he kept the Rosatom investigation quiet.

With the revelations of the past week it is beyond time for Robert Mueller to recuse himself from the Russia election collusion investigation but to date I have not heard one politician, most notably Jeff Sessions, call for his recusal.

I would take it one step further: it is time to open a secondary investigation into Robert Mueller to find out why he kept this investigation secret at the same time Russia was “donating” many millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation shortly before Hillary Clinton signed off on the Uranium One deal. I would also like to know how the spouse of the sitting Secretary of State was allowed to collect $500,000 for a speech to a foreign government on foreign soil, especially during the time of these negotiations.

I looked this up to find out just how close the Russian spies got to Hillary Clinton. This bit from Wikipedia puts it as close as “…Alan Patricof… who co-chaired Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential bid….”

Here’s a longer quote with a link to the full article below. The whole business was on Mueller’s watch. Some people say he’s straight as a string, by the whole Clinton/Russia business, he looks pretty crooked to me. If anyone is going to get investigated, impeached or indicted, Mueller looks like a good place to start.

“Lidiya Guriyeva attended school in the United States, receiving two undergraduate degrees from New York University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.[76] In 2009, Cynthia Murphy developed contacts in New York City financial circles as a means to obtain details about the global gold market.[77] Lidiya was trying to cultivate a relationship with Alan Patricof, a venture capitalist who co-chaired Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential bid, with her handlers telling her to “try to build up relations little by little.”[78] Lidiya Guriyeva was Vice President of Morea Financial Services in New York.[72]”

Thanks for that info. Mueller needs to go but the problem is the optics. Can you imagine the uproar if he is fired?! They need to come out calling for his recusal and force the issue but they are all silent

It seems Mueller was set up by Rosenstein. All of these corruption revelations are occurring according to some unknown master plan. They say the Lord works in mysterious ways and all these events fit that saying. Sit back, buckle up and stay awake!
