Politico: Barack Obama allowed Hezbollah to funnel cocaine into the United States in order to secure the Iran nuclear deal
According to a new blockbuster report by the left-leaning Politico Barack Obama allowed Hezbollah’s drug and weapons trafficking to continue, despite the United States government’s efforts to shut it down, in order to secure his precious Iran nuclear deal even as cocaine was making its way into the United States.
First, here is a little information on Project Cassandra:
The campaign, dubbed Project Cassandra, was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was collecting $1 billion a year from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.
Over the next eight years, agents working out of a top-secret DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, used wiretaps, undercover operations and informants to map Hezbollah’s illicit networks, with the help of 30 U.S. and foreign security agencies.
They followed cocaine shipments, some from Latin America to West Africa and on to Europe and the Middle East, and others through Venezuela and Mexico to the United States. They tracked the river of dirty cash as it was laundered by, among other tactics, buying American used cars and shipping them to Africa. And with the help of some key cooperating witnesses, the agents traced the conspiracy, they believed, to the innermost circle of Hezbollah and its state sponsors in Iran.

In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation.
as Project Cassandra reached higher into the hierarchy of the conspiracy, Obama administration officials threw an increasingly insurmountable series of roadblocks in its way, according to interviews with dozens of participants who in many cases spoke for the first time about events shrouded in secrecy, and a review of government documents and court records. When Project Cassandra leaders sought approval for some significant investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial sanctions, officials at the Justice and Treasury departments delayed, hindered or rejected their requests.
The Justice Department declined requests by Project Cassandra and other authorities to file criminal charges against major players such as Hezbollah’s high-profile envoy to Iran, a Lebanese bank that allegedly laundered billions in alleged drug profits, and a central player in a U.S.-based cell of the Iranian paramilitary Quds force. And the State Department rejected requests to lure high-value targets to countries where they could be arrested.
“This was a policy decision, it was a systematic decision,” said David Asher, who helped establish and oversee Project Cassandra as a Defense Department illicit finance analyst. “They serially ripped apart this entire effort that was very well supported and resourced, and it was done from the top down.”

One Obama-era Treasury official, Katherine Bauer, in little-noticed written testimony presented last February to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, acknowledged that “under the Obama administration … these [Hezbollah-related] investigations were tamped down for fear of rocking the boat with Iran and jeopardizing the nuclear deal.”
But this is just the tip of the iceberg, there is much, much more in the Politico report. We thought the Iran nuclear deal was bad enough on its own but if this is true the means used to secure the deal might actually be worse than the deal itself. I think it might be time to take a second look at Katherine Bauer’s “little-noticed” testimony from last February…

When I read the article, I wanted to be shocked, but I just wound up adding it to the list of ways Obama screwed the U.S., England, Europe and Israel.
My next thought was that if Hillary had won, it would still be going on. Any word on what is happening now that Jeff Sessions is A.G.?
Oh yeah, I’m also adding this to the list of reasons I don’t like Eric Holder either.

Yep, if the White Hats hadn’t stepped in to prevent the Soros owned voting machines / computers we’d be in a whole different ‘reality’ and it wouldn’t be pretty.
If things go as planned they’ll be reaping the evils they sowed sooner than later. Their ‘bent’ on power, control and world domination, just like their spirit guide ~ pushing the ‘alien encounter’ (fallen angels) to help them.

Yeah, all of this would still be going on and it would only be getting worse. All of Hillary and the DNC’s corruption would have been hidden and that is why they are trying so hard to bring Trump down.

Yes, evilness likes to ‘spoil the whole loaf’. It’s not that we need to know the depth of depravity, lest we fall in the hole. Just realize that it ‘is’ and no ‘wishful thinking’ rids it. That ploy of the enemy has been to instill in the collective mindset of society, ‘Just believe and all will be okay. Believe what? Believe who(m)? That’s the deceiver/usurper. Live for today, don’t worry, just be happy. Probably is, happiness of evil isn’t the same as ours. “Let’s all get along” means being enslaved by those who ‘never have enough’. Their ‘happiness’ means stealing away our Joy, Peace and Hope! It’s more like ‘spiritual abuse and raping’ which has been going on for some time now. Just like all what’s being uncover and brought out in the light – sex trafficking children. As they profess: “OH, it’s for SAKE of the children” … Naught!
