The FBI opens a new investigation into The Clinton Foundation
According to this story the FBI is opening up a new investigation into The Clinton Foundation to see if there was any pay-to-play scheme or if any monies were converted for personal use. Here is more:
The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of State, law enforcement officials and a witness tells The Hill.
FBI agents from Little Rock, Ark., where the foundation was started, have taken the lead in the investigation and have interviewed at least one witness in the last month, and law enforcement officials said additional activities are expected in the coming weeks.
The officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the probe is examining whether the Clintons promised or performed any policy favors in return for largesse to their charitable efforts or whether donors made commitments of donations in hopes of securing government outcomes.
The probe may also examine whether any tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use and whether the foundation complied with applicable tax laws, the officials said.
One witness recently interviewed by the FBI described the session to The Hill as “extremely professional and unquestionably thorough” and focused on questions about whether donors to Clinton charitable efforts received any favorable treatment from the Obama administration on a policy decision previously highlighted in media reports.
Here is what Hillary Clinton’s spokesman had to say about this:
“Let’s call this what it is: a sham,” Merrill said. “This is a philanthropy that does life-changing work, which Republicans have tried to turn into a political football. It began with a now long-debunked project spearheaded by Steve Bannon during the presidential campaign. It continues with Jeff Sessions doing Trump’s bidding by heeding his calls to meddle with a department that is supposed to function independently.”
I do have to agree with Mr. Merrill on one point: the foundation certainly did life-changing work, it turned the Clinton’s into multi-millionaires…
I wouldn’t expect anything to come from this, it is all just another show.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
I understand the Clinton’s have agreed to a perp walk once the phony Rev Al bobblehead Sharpton hands over a $5,000,000.00+ check to the IRS for the back taxes he still owes.

Sessions is getting a little nervous since the pressure is on for him to resign…. but as he stated before he has not intention of going after any of them.

Yeah, this looks like a show investigation but it is unrelated to Russia so I suppose he feels like he can get involved. Or make it look like he is…

It’s not over until it’s over. Don’t forget that Watergate took over 2 years to come to an end and it was a lot simpler than our current situation.
Congress is still looking into it as well as different FBI field offices. I’m still curious as to why Trey Gowdy suddenly petered out.
In the meantime, follow the link to former Attorney General under Nixon, John Mitchell’s booking photo. He served 19 months in Federal custody for his part in Watergate.

Hopefully something will come from this but I just feel as if they have something on Sessions as well.

Given how the Clinton’s work, it wouldn’t surprise me if Sessions were hiding something, but he’s not the only player.
They just found out more about the emails on Anthony Weiner’s computer. In bits and pieces, it’s all coming out.
The loose ends are flapping, but be ready for a long investigation and eventual trial. We are probably looking at the most widespread corruption in government since Tammany Hall. I wouldn’t expect anything definitive before Trump’s second term.
If Trump doesn’t get a 2nd term, then we’re screwed, literally and figuratively.

Yes, if Trump does not win in 2020 this will all go away but hopefully someday there will be justice. Hillary and the Dems were banking on a win to make this go away this year but now they are just trying to hold on until 2020.

Here’s another bit about FBI agent Peter Strozk’s probably illegal activities during the Russia dossier business and probably some other stuff. The little pieces just keep piling up.

Great minds think alike – yes?
There are so many different items, all pointing to massive corruption centered on the Clinton Liberals, but also including many Republicans, that I believe our government and government institutions need a house cleaning on nearly the level of a Stalinist purge. The survivors would then understand that their duty (and the only way to survive) is to execute their jobs strictly in a non partisan and thoroughly Constitutional manner.
I know I’m approaching a nearly paranoid level on all of this, but hardly a week has gone by since the Clinton admin, that hasn’t included a revelation showing the likelihood of of partisan government corruption. I believe in Power to the People, not power to the central government.

Yes they do! 😉
I don’t think you are being paranoid. I think the one thing Trump’s election has shown us is just how deep all of this goes. They all want him out of there because he is an insider and he threatens their power so they must be taken out before he is.
