Maxine Waters says Donald Trump’s comment about her IQ is racist
First let me say that I do not think the President should be out there calling people names. I understand he is frustrated but I think there is a better way to go about it. Of course the Democrats and some of the Republicans have been guilty of the same–Donald Trump has been called a Nazi, a white nationalist, a misogynist, a homophobe, and a racist, among other things–but at some point we need to get past all of this and move on.
But speaking about being called a racist it happened again: Over the weekend Donald Trump said that Maxine Waters needed to take an IQ test. Maxine Waters made the claim this was a racist comment. Here is what she said:
“This president has been called stupid, he has been called ignorant, and even his Secretary of State did not deny that he called him a moron. And so he has no credibility. He has been name calling. He’s been saying all kinds of things. And I certainly expected him to come out with some racist remarks about me. So he did exactly what I expected him do. And, by the way, I’m told he wasn’t funny at all.”
The first thing I noticed about this comment is Maxine Waters confirmed that Donald Trump has been the victim of name-calling himself, he is not alone in the name-calling. Perhaps he has brought some of it on himself with his own name-calling but the Democrats are not innocent themselves. In fact I would argue the name-calling predates Donald Trump with the Democrats basically crying racism every time somebody opposed Barack Obama for his policies.
Secondly, there was nothing racist about this comment. This is the Democrats “go to” line every time somebody opposes them but it is growing stale and because of this the term is losing its effectiveness. People are growing tone deaf when they hear this term because it has been overplayed.
There is still racism in this country, to deny that would be foolish, but the problem is not as prevalent in today’s day and age as the Democrats would like us to believe–for the most part people have moved beyond race. The problem with these false claims of racism is that it takes away from real claims of racism when they occur because people just roll their eyes and say “here we go again” when there is an issue which should be dealt with.

Hope Trump keeps it up. We have all seen what happens to the RINO Fredos who have refused to hit back. There are no arguments about manners when one side resolves to be indecent. The Left gave up any claims after they ran the Goldwater nuclear add.
They plunged into and drunk deeply of the toilet since then.

Each side has been vilifying the other for years. Over the past 8 years we had non stop attacks on Obama. Criticism is fair, but name calling and salacious gossip is another. Based on what I read in the comment sections of various blogs and news sites “conservative” commenters are ill mannered and lack an ability to discuss a topic without resorting to name calling. These sites need to better monitor their commenters. This verbal sewage does not help public discourse.- that is why I come to this site. Thanks Steve!
Waters has laid into the President on numerous occasions in the past. The Congreve lacks fortitude to remind its members they have a responsibility to maintain decorum. The ethics office in each chamber needs to grow a set of balls and start rapping knuckles.

Thanks! I have seen what you are talking about in other places as well and maybe this whole thing is a byproduct of today’s culture. It is really getting insane out there and I wonder if the Democrats are afraid to reign in people like Waters because they are afraid it will alienate their base.

Yes, Steve in a world where there were ‘mature and moral adults’ who -weren’t sucked into the BORG Black Hole- name calling wouldn’t exist, but he probably used that statement to riling them all up into a frenzy (throwing back in their faces what they call Americans – low IQ) and, instead of:stating Water’s needs to take an SANITY test.” We all know she would Fail! along with many others in both parties, sitting in “leadership positions”! Many of them are “clearly” mentality Ill (no kidding).
When people are full of lies and distain Truths the way they do, they go nutty ~ looney toons.
Pres. Trump’s IQ is said to be156.
I think he’s pushing this because they’re ALWAYS looking down on the masses as “stupid” “ignorant” and laugh at how “easy it is to beguile people and make them believe their lies.”
It’s a form of “psychological warfare” he’s doing to them. “Q” comes right out and calls them “stupid.” Because when the ‘veil’ is lifted its obvious who they are and what they’re doing.
Going into the spiritual realm to help explain this:
Spiritual Warfare, involves ‘blinding your enemy’ ‘keeping them in the dark.’ We’ve been under a ‘strong delusion ~ a demonic spell’ for years, generations, while the “shadow govt evil spirits of darkness = deep state cabal” have been destroying the foundation of Truth of Biblical guidelines that use to be the norm in this Nation. Godly valves and right conduct kept people ‘sane’ and aware.
I believe that God is opening people’s eyes to ‘see’ what’s really going on (perceiving where before they couldn’t).
The Prayer is that God would “heal” and restore the land – to open people to ‘seek and live His truth’.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
That was OT, but like that thief on the cross with Jesus, he just believed and trusted the Christ, that He was “Lord” ~ he wanted the Lord to ‘remember him’! That’s Faith.
The “enemy” doesn’t want us believing in God who can “help us and save us”:
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
‘Not all’ are His people, and some who are, are ‘blinded’. Thinking and believing they “believe” God but come to find out they’ve been ‘beguiled’:
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
If things seem crazy, its because they ARE!
Only ‘knowing and receiving the Truth’ makes people sound and well of being
So, Water’s might have a lower IQ than the President, but that’s not really the problem is it!
Does she want what’s BEST FOR AMERICANS or not?
Or is she part of the plot to destroy and overthrow America?
If the latter, she needs to be removed, as well as all those others who are on that “ungodly bent!” #PURGE & #FLUSH

Haven’t finished the whole comment yet but you are on to something about the sanity check. Her and Pelosi have become unraveled since he was elected. If he is using physiological warfare on them it is working!

The point being the ‘shadow govt’ is connected to the dark fallen spiritual realm and many have been ‘taught’ to think that “absurd”. Makes for easy pickings.

I like when you post them here so more people can see it, I just didn’t have time to read the whole comment thoroughly before work.
The light shined in the darkness but the darkness could not comprehend it. I would add the darkness does not want to comprehend it because they like the darkness and what they think it provides. But it only provides early rewards while we are seeking a reward not of this earth.

Steve good comment on Maxine Waters. Her IQ is what it is and not racism. She will never learn as long as she keeps talking, she needs to stop and listen to what people are saying about her. Maybe
And only then maybe she will (can) learn.

I guess we are to overlook the comments that we “dirt people” are deplorable and irredeemable. That apparently we just discovered the opposing digits on our hands. Other than that, she does demonstrate a low I.Q. (You and I are on the same page today!) Great minds. 🙂
