Sunday, April 8th open thread: ‘Everybody’s Happy Nowadays’

April 8, 2018

open-thread  Here is the open thread for Sunday, April 8th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Last week we discussed 7 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.

Here is the Buzzcocks performing “Everybody’s Happy Nowadays”  from Top of the Pops in 1979.

haha, right off I see the △ in the background center stage. Use to be, the △ stood for the Trinity, God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Ghost But the devil usurped it (because he’s not creative like God ~ no Truth in the serpent), just like he does with any good & meaningful word, truth or definition of worth, perverts it into 💩 depravity.

Ha! I thought you would catch that. I heard this song the other day and I remembered how much I liked it back in the day so I decided to share it. The first thing I caught when watching the video was the symbolism!
I haven’t read anything lately about the mystery schools but I need to take a short break from all of the theology I have been reading lately and I will be reading the “Secret Destiny of America” by Freemason Manly P Hall next. It is interesting because today in church we read from Ephesians and when Paul mentioned the mystery of God our pastor took a couple of minutes to talk about the ancient mystery religions that required initiation into the secrets.

Mysticism … Superstition … spiritual Symbolism fascinates our human curiosity, imploring us to follow more intently, entreating us to look into the ‘unknown’ – to uncovered, find and discover. Thing is though it entices the ungodly nature rather than light the way to godliness. Fascination has been the ruin of many, seeing how far down the rabbit hole they could go, not being able to find their way back out into the light of day. 😬
I’ve not read Hall’s book, maybe you’ll see fit to simplify and condense it for us in a posting. 😊

        Mysticism | ˈmistəˌsizəm |
        noun
1= belief that union with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or the spiritual apprehension of knowledge inaccessible to the intellect, may be attained through contemplation and self-surrender.
2- belief characterized by self-delusion or dreamy confusion of thought, especially when based on the assumption of occult qualities or mysterious agencies.
        {Tantalizes and excites our desire to continue to ‘eat from the forbidden fruit’ ~ thinking in “it” do we become “all we can become” …. but in the end ‘enslaves’ us and we require an greater outside presence to deliver us from it.}

Writing about Hall’s book could be an interesting idea! I know that Bill Cooper referenced it quite a bit so it is going to be interesting to see what is in there.

Interesting definitions! Interesting you referenced the forbidden fruit. When you think about it this way Satan was the first to promise to reveal the mysteries and that is what all the mystery schools are based on.

The voting machines and illegal voting was suppose to ‘work’ but it didn’t.

Only the ‘special’ get the right to privacy? or are watched too!
We’re told in Scripture that God is all seeing and knowing, He knows our thoughts before we even ‘think to have them’! That makes sense, He’s God.
But, the devil and those who ‘work’ for him need technology and such to help them. Plus they “use” this information for their own self-serving (sinful) gain usually, which doesn’t justify their “usurping.”

Interesting video but all too true! Interesting comment about God being all seeing and all knowing compared with the devil and his helpers needing technology!

Those who work for the Agenda world leaders are so indoctrinated they’ve no idea of what they’re really being ‘used for.’ Or they’re scammed to think one thing but find out it’s not the truth, but it serves the purpose of the evil liars and thieves.
