Sunday, April 15th open thread: ‘A Girl Like You’

April 15, 2018

 open-threadHere is the open thread for Sunday, April 15th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

  Last week we discussed 6 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

  In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

  The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.

  Here is The Smithereens performing “A Girl Like You” on The Tonight Show in 1992. Sadly lead singer Pat DiNizio passed away late last year at the tender age of 62.

    Once again Steve I’m inclined to show my age. The title “A girl like you” for me will always belong to The Young Rascals’ 1967 hit. 🎼

      Yes, us ‘oldies’ need to stick together! Funny how each generation ‘thinks themselves more “in tune” or “complete” than the newer generation … who think themselves ‘more knowledgable and better’!
      Here you go!

      Hey Swiss, that’s quite a visual production of a music production! The power of imagery.
      Where Jesus used words to set a scene (the stage) using parables, the mimic [devil] uses the physical sophisticated methods in this world using his own symbology!
      Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I [Jesus] to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. {The unbelieving hearts is waxed gross, unseeing, unhearing, blinded (by sin), being alienated from God.}
      Parable can be defined as a fictions narrative/illustration, but we know that many of (if not all) of Jesus’ parables were steeped in/with ‘reality’ => depicting something that was or was to come. A moral truth that’s constantly under attack by the “progressive indoctrination” of the ‘World Order Agenda.”
      Since the ‘mimic’ does his own take on parables those who are of his spirit ‘hear and see’ his meaning, those not of his spirit are taught the meanings (to some extent), pulling them into his flock/collective as well.
      Hope you’re well!

        Ha. Now you’re right up Steve’s alley w/ Muse!
        I’d rather see & know more of God than the opposite. I was just thinking of that yest. that’s its better to know who one ‘really wants to know’ than someone we don’t!

    This is quite telling. How sickening it is that the LIARS have the reins – say and do what ever it takes to bring in their new Collective Tower of Power ~ Babel.
    God refers to them as ‘workers of iniquity’ following in the path of their spiritual father the serpent (devil).
