Carter Page files defamation lawsuit against the DNC
As we know by now the so-called Russian dossier, which was used to illegally obtain FISA warrants against some Trump campaign officials as well as being the sole “evidence” used to begin the Trump/Russia collusion investigation, was nearly wholly debunked and it turned out to be opposition research paid for by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.
One of the people who had his name dragged through the mud, being called a traitor and other names, was Carter Page and now according to this story he is fighting back. Carter Page has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee. Here is more:
Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page said Monday that he has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee (DNC) over a dossier that alleges ties between Page and Russia.
Page said on Fox News’s “Hannity” that his lawsuit “goes beyond any damages or any financial aspects.”
“There have been so many lies, as you’re alluding to, and you look at the damage it did to our democratic systems and our institutions of government back in 2016. And I’m just trying to get some justice,” he said.
Page’s lawsuit is against both the DNC and its law firm, Perkins Coie, as well as a few of the firm’s partners, he said on “Hannity.”
I am glad to see somebody who has the courage to fight back for a change and the the fact Carter Page is not simply going to let this rest is a pretty clear indicator to me that he did nothing wrong.
I do not see Carter Page getting the justice he is seeking but after what they have done to him and his name it is at least worth a shot.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
I agree, though a number of attorneys say he is hurting is cause by saying its not about the money but for “discovery.” He needs to shut up about that as the court will throw it out.
He needs to claim it damaged his name and wants to be compensated. Lets hope he gets a good and honest judge.

That’s interesting and I see the point. He thinks by saying it isn’t about the money he is helping his case by showing it is not being done out of greed but it sounds like that could actually backfire.
