Judge orders Robert Mueller to turn over documents related to Michael Flynn’s questioning
As Michael Flynn awaits sentencing for his guilty plea on one count of lying to the FBI the case is now taking an interesting turn. Michael Flynn is making the claim that he did not have a lawyer present during questioning because he was told by Andrew McCabe he did not need one. Because of this the Federal judge overseeing the case is demanding Robert Mueller turn over all documents related to the case, and that includes documents with potentially exculpatory evidence.
Here is more:
The federal judge overseeing former national security advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s criminal case is demanding that Special Counsel Robert Mueller turn over all of the government’s documents related to Flynn’s questioning by 3:00 p.m. EST Friday. The documents requested by U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan include potentially exculpatory “memoranda” pertaining to Flynn’s case.
This comes after a sentencing memo filed by Flynn’s defense team on Tuesday showed that Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe suggested that then-national security adviser Flynn not have a lawyer present for his interview with two bureau agents at the White House on Jan. 24, 2017. That interview with FBI agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka ultimately led to Flynn’s guilty plea on one count of making false statements regarding wiretapped communications with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynn “clearly saw the FBI agents as allies” and was “relaxed and jocular,” according to the 302 prepared by the agents. Now, many believe the agents were sent there to catch him in a perjury trap.
You could argue that Michael Flynn should have been smart enough to understand he needed to have a lawyer present and I would agree with you, however that does not excuse the FBI from the fact the agency violated Michael Flynn’s rights and as such I believe the guilty plea should be overturned. And apparently that could happen:
The bombshell allegation seems to have piqued the interest of Sullivan, a magistrate known for having a low tolerance level for the shenanigans of federal prosecutors.
Sullivan — who overturned the 2008 conviction of former U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens after government misconduct came to light — is weighing how to sentence Flynn, who pleaded guilty to one count of lying to federal authorities during the 2017 interview in the West Wing. Flynn faced mounting legal bills that forced him to sell his home amid the prosecution, and Mueller has already recommended he receive no prison time.
Flynn is set to be sentenced next Tuesday — but Sullivan’s move might delay that date, or lead to other dramatic and unexpected changes in the case. Sullivan even has the authority to toss Flynn’s guilty plea and the charge against him if he concludes that the FBI interfered with Flynn’s constitutional right to counsel, although he has given no indications that he intends to do so.
Last week we learned that Robert Mueller hid exculpatory evidence for Donald Trump and now we are leaning they violated Michael Flynn’s right and also possibly withheld exculpatory evidence and we are still supposed to believe this is not a witch hunt?
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
Keep in mind it was the second week of the Trump administration. He was use to dealing with the FBI and was head of NSI I believe.. Comey in an arrogant clip that came out today is saying he pulled one off getting the two FBI guys in without going through the WH counsel.

Good points, he thought he could trust these people because he was in with them and at that time we didn’t know how much of a weasel Comey really is.

Even a ‘causal meeting’ (a set-up by FBI) was used to as evidence along w/ the “don’t bring your lawyer” meeting >ambushed<

Rush talked about it today: ‘they didn’t want Flynn to think he was being officially interviewed. So they didn’t tell him that he had a right to have an attorney present. He would have known that if he would have known the reason this little chat was taking place, but he didn’t even know that. The FBI walks into the White House. As far as Flynn knows, we’re all on the same team here! Flynn has no idea they’re coming to set him up.’

All of those involved need to be held accountable (they knew what they were doing) and pay the piper + prison time.

Thanks, maybe I was too hard on Flynn. He was set up and I guess it is easy to look back at it now and say he should have known but at the time he didn’t realize what they were up to.

Yep, like Bunker stated, ‘how’d he know.’
With all the deception and lies making a clear read of judgment is difficult, if not impossible, since we don’t have all the puzzle pieces or the ‘big pict’ to go by. Those missing and telling “pieces” are being held or even ‘burned’ by the ‘guilty ones’ less they exposed the depths of their corruption, perversions and crookedness.

Surely Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka will be advised to retain counsel should they be interviewed regarding their ambushing of general Flynn; maybe Mueller as well.
Here is an excerpt from the Ian Walsh blog posted January, 2013.
Full trials, and the full protection of the law, such as it remains, now belongs only to those who are very wealthy, and sometimes not even to them. Defending a trial can take hundreds of thousand or millions of dollars. An ordinary person cannot afford it. Public defenders are overworked, underfunded, and generally plead out. This is on top of the fact that most rich criminals, such as the bankers who committed widespread fraud, are never charged with crimes, and if they are charged are allowed to settle with a token payment which immunizes them from further charges for their criminal acts, acts which demonstrably cost hundreds of thousands of people their houses, lost people their jobs, and even their lives. Law which is enforced only against some classes of people, and not against others, is unjust.
And then there is civil forfeiture, in which people who have been convicted of nothing, have their assets taken away. Even if you’re rich, you may find yourself using a public defender.
General Flynn anyone?

OT but hearing what Tom from Judicial Watch has to say helps give some insight. I watched a bit of him being asked questions, proving himself for even applying Hilly did ‘anything’ wrong but had to turn it off. So venomous the attackers, cold and life-sucking! 😨 I bet that room was ‘thick’ w/ the ‘unseen entities’ from hell’s pit – could cut the air w/ a 🔪 or 🗡 🤺

I wonder how many who ‘wronged him’ will have a new home at GITMO. I pray so & that they’re made to ‘do manual labor’ for their rm and board – not the tax payers $$$
PLUS that the EO goes into effect (abuse crimes) and they’re forced to pay back the millions of $$$$ they wasted on their con. Ill-gotten funds be confiscated in full!
