Donald Trump is preparing to declassify FISA documents
When the Mueller investigation concluded and the report exonerated the President, Devin Nunes declared it was time to go on the offensive and prepared criminal referrals to the Department of Justice related to alleged FISA abuses.
Donald Trump has threatened to declassify documents related to the FISA abuses but to date he has not done it. Now that the investigation is over it looks as if the Trump administration is taking a second look at declassifying these documents as part of said offensive. Here is more:
With the contents of the Mueller report now public, President Trump and key White House aides are said to be taking a fresh look at declassifying documents that GOP allies believe will expose unlawful actions at the Department of Justice and the FBI purportedly taken against the Trump campaign in 2016.
Attorney General William Barr has already begun investigating the investigators at both the DOJ and FBI.
DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, probing the same matters, is said to be drafting his final report, due within six weeks or so.
Any declassification by the president is expected to occur around that time and to focus on the surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in October 2016.
William Barr has already stated that the Obama administration did spy on the Trump campaign and is now investigating to determine if it was justified. If it is true that the Department of Justice was unlawfully spying on the Trump campaign than these documents need to be declassified so we can see the depth of corruption and the lengths a sitting President would go to influence the outcome of the election. The integrity of the election process is at stake, as the Democrats have been saying for two years…
I believe it was a good idea not to declassify these documents while the Mueller investigation was ongoing because the left would have claimed the President was trying to either influence or obstruct the investigation, now that the investigation is over it is time to declassify the information and I hope that Donald Trump makes good on this.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
The time is now…..and he should be on the offensive and should have been long ago….. I see your point in waiting, but timing is everything and before they get going on the impeachment nonsense he needs to move.

I agree, there is no excuse for not coming out blazing now. It is time to take the fight to the Democrats because they are not going to let this go and I am tired of the Republicans always playing defense.
