William Barr assigns special prosecutor to investigate the FBI spying on Donald Trump

May 14, 2019

William Barr put the left into a tizzy when he stated there was no doubt that the FBI was spying on Donald Trump during the 2016 election.

While Washington debates the semantics of the word “spying” the fact remains that after a two year investigation into Donald Trump it appears as if the FBI lied about the Steele dossier in order to get a FISA warrant to “surveil” the Trump campaign.

Now, according to this story, William Barr is appointing an inspector general to look into the origin of the inquiry. Here is more:

Attorney General William P. Barr has assigned the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut to examine the origins of the Russia investigation, according to two people familiar with the matter, a move that President Trump has long called for but that could anger law enforcement officials who insist that scrutiny of the Trump campaign was lawful.

Mr. Barr has signaled his concerns about the Russia investigationduring congressional testimony, particularly the surveillance of Trump associates. “I think spying did occur,” he said. “The question is whether it was adequately predicated. And I’m not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated. But I need to explore that.”

As William Barr stated, at this point it is only a question of if the spying was warranted and judging by what we have learned of the FBI’s use of the Steele dossier, which they knew was fake, to justify getting a FISA warrant it looks like the tables are about to be turned on the hunters.

After perpetrating a hoax on the American people for two years in an attempt to take down the President the left might finally get what they have coming to them.
