Elizabeth Warren vows to work towards ending Israel’s ‘occupation’

July 9, 2019

The Democrats have become increasingly anti-Semitic since the election of Donald Trump. You know what? Strike that, I should say the Democrats have become more comfortable in their anti-Semitism since the election. While once the tried to hide it they no longer feel compelled to do so.

This, plus the push to out-left each other in the 2020 campaign could spell bad news for Israel if one of them wins the election. Not to be outdone by the likes of  Ilhan Omar, when asked about Israel’s “occupation”  Elizabeth Warren basically said she would work to end it. Here is more:

An activist from the radical left-wing group IfNotNow named Becca Lubow approached Warren in New Hampshire on Monday after a town hall and asked Warren if she would commit to pushing “the Israeli government to end Occupation.”

Warren answered, “Yes. Yes. So I’m there.”

So for months the left has been claiming Donald Trump cozies up to dictators while pushing our allies away and here we have a legitimate candidate for President of the United States dissing our only true ally in the Middle East while taking the side of terrorists…

That’s the one! Sadly Democrats don’t seem to care that she lied about being a minority to get ahead…

A measure of the moral bankruptcy of the Democrats.

It also brings up the old question of why do Jews (including some of my relatives) support Democrats when Democrats have not done us much good in a very long time?

I’ve been asked that question more than once and I have no satisfactory answer. I suspect that it ties in with the founding of the labor unions in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries plus a lingering affection for Franklin D. Roosevelt. None of which makes sense as one is over 100 years ago and the other has been dead for 74 years.

BTW – in the last election, my family split 60/40 in favor of Donald Trump. On the Hillary side, one of them no longer talks to me and I’m not sure about another.

When you finally figure out the answer to that question let us know the answer. I suspect you are right in that it is one of those “I have always be a Democrat” answers where people just have been voting a certain way for so long they just keep voting that way without even thinking about it.
