DOJ Inspector General has finished his investigation into FISA abuses
We have been patiently waiting for the Inspector General’s report to come out on the alleged FISA abuses used to spy on the Trump campaign but it has been a long, drawn out process. Originally the report was supposed to be released in May but to date we still have not seen it.
If this story is true the light might actually be at the end of the tunnel. It is being reported that Michael Horowitz has finished his investigation and is now in the process of finalizing the report. Here is more:
The Justice Department’s inspector general told Congress on Friday that he completed his investigation into possible FBI abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act during the Trump-Russia probe, and has sent a draft version of his report to the Justice Department and FBI for review.
“We have now begun the process of finalizing our report by providing a draft of our factual findings to the Department and the FBI for classification determination and marking,” Michael Horowitz, the inspector general, said in a letter to several congressional committees.
Hopefully this is true and hopefully we will soon learn the truth, but judging from what we have seen from William Barr and his unwillingness to prosecute government officials I am not expecting any justice here no matter how damning the report might be.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
I do think a few of them will start to sing to save themselves… what Barr et al does with it is yet to be seen…still an interesting move worth the effort to follow….

Yeah, I am still holding out hope for some reason. I think we will probably see some lower level people take the hit for this but maybe one of them will sing.
