Can we see your papers? Governor Cuomo to deploy ‘enforcement teams’ at airports to crack down on out of state visitors
If you are an out of stater planning on traveling to New York any time soon you best be prepared to be greeted by an “enforcement team” which include police officers whose job it is to violate your Constitutional rights to make sure you are filling out a “contact information form” under the guise of stopping the spread of COVID-19. Do you have your papers in order? They will also be taking measures to ensure you hole yourself up in a hotel room for 14 days before you go anywhere in fascist state.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is deploying “enforcement teams” that include police officers to airports to keep track of visitors to New York as officials enforce the Democrat’s out-of-state travel advisory, which mandates that all travelers from coronavirus hot-spot states must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
On Monday, the governor issued an executive order that requires travelers from designated states — at least 22 at last count — to fill out a “contact information form” established by the N.Y. Department of Health. The mandate applies to all visitors traveling by plane, train or car and require contacts phone numbers and addresses for where the visitors will be staying.
I would imagine this means they will be pulling people over on the roads simply for having out of state plate as well, if they are not doing so already. More still:
The enforcement teams will “meet arriving aircrafts at gates and greet disembarking passengers to request proof of completion” of the form, according to the state’s website. Among the team members will be peace officers as well as Port Authority and State Police officers.
Travelers who leave the airport without completing the form can be fined $2,000 fine — and could even be ordered to complete a mandatory quarantine. If anyone violates the quarantine order, they face a fine of up to $10,000.
Did you ever think you would see the day in this country when a person could be ordered under house arrest or fined $10,000 simply because they wanted to do some sight-seeing? This is insane, while some governors are finally starting to let their subjects have a little more freedom others, like Andrew Cuomo, are really starting to enjoy the totalitarianism.
And this is all over a virus which has a two week incubation period. How quickly the house arrest orders went from two weeks to a month, from a month to three months, and from three months into the foreseeable future and the Democrats were sounding the alarm for three years that Donald Trump was the one who wanted to be a dictator…

I heard they were trying to pas legislation to take emergency powers away from the governor in PA. A great idea but of course the governor will never sign it! This is getting crazy, they really have no intention of letting us have our freedoms back.

Freedom has been being whittled away a bit at a time. Those of us on here have seen this, but the sheep just see that the government has been taking care of us. I have relatives that believe in the masks, I do not. Where is the eye protection? That is another way the virus will enter the body. Why not goggles? It is all about compliance, there I said it. The DS wants to see how far they can push the people and it looks like they can push pretty far. Enough is enough, Steve? Not sure most people have it in them to do that. It is going to take having their family members being subject to something really bad before they will say that. As long as the elite and famous people and Congress have police protection, they will continue to deplete our ranks of officers. These are the same people that have been doing their job for years and now all of a sudden they are the enemy? Take that away from them and then it is a whole new ball game. I see so many of the Hollywood crew with their security protection screaming about defunding the police, but what about their protection? Why, of course not! I would love to see things get back to normal, but not sure what normal will look like. I read that people wearing masks are now attacking those of us that do not. It is getting to be pretty personal, isn’t it? I also read that a lot more people are purchasing guns and getting their CC along with that. It never says they are only Conservatives, so I have to believe there are closet Liberals that might be seeing the light, that they are responsible for protecting their families. The ironic thing is, those same people will continue to vote with the Democrats. Don’t understand it and probably never will. All I can say is prepare with what you are able to do and wait…..

That’s right Lou, they just chip away little by little at our rights under the guise of protection and before you know it they will all be gone and people will wonder how it happened. I used to have a Madison quote on the banner of the blog which said, “I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations” and I believe that is one of the most accurate quotes ever.
To me the mask is an outward and visible symbol of all the rights they have taken from us during this COVID crisis.

And don’t forget about the rights we lost after 9/11 and the creation of TSA. I also believe the mask indicates submission and silence, and am pleased Trump has not worn it. So easily most everyone rolled over in fear, and now seeing how easily that was accomplished, the power mongers using their propaganda media machines will continue demoralizing us into more submission… I can barely stomach what is happening in America…and no matter which way the election goes it will be a mess for days…weeks…heck, probably years as with what the Dems have done during Trump’s entire term.

I think I just might join rioters in one of their BLM protest marches just to be able to mingle with others unencumbered by the totalitarian state especially since the COVID Virus can’t be spread during one of these events.

Peter, it appears they are the only ones that have any rights, doesn’t it? And, as Steve says it is a good way to protect ourselves from the virus. That virus is pretty smart, it is still not attacking the protesters in New York, or at least Mayor De Blasio tells us. He has the prison population under control and dropping, as well…to go do a presser and say that, takes a total idiot, but his “people” will believe whatever he says. Now, leave out that crime is WAY up, but that is just a small formality. I really, really dislike people like him. You can throw in Gov Cuomo, as well, another total idiot that puts the blame on anyone but himself. I can see why people would move to another area, but seems like a lot of them are taking their bad politics with them. I have always been a conservative from the time I started voting. Moving from Illinois, a liberal state, no one needs to worry that I will bring that garbage with me, there are those of us that still believe in what is right and what the left if trying to shove down our throats, is NOT RIGHT!

I can only pray that those of us who still do know and practice common decency and common sense turn out in the polls in magnitude to sweep Trump in. Yes, he has his odd ways but I truly believe he does love America and that’s something I can’t say for most politicians or the domestic terrorists trying to destroy our country.

Sadly Steve, I did think I would see the day in this country when a person could be ordered under house arrest or fined, because I BELIEVED Orwell, and studied history, and learned about Marx, and the demand for revolution. Did you see the LA teachers union, one of the biggest in the country won’t teach until, amongst many other outrageous demands, that the Police be defunded! They too are a mob, and the parents won’t do a damn thing about it. They rather have their kids indoctrinated than hanging around the house.
