William Barr appoints John Durham as special counsel in Spygate investigation

December 2, 2020

Last month it was reported that John Durham was dropping the Spygate investigation due to a fear of retribution by the Biden administration after he is sworn in in January, however it appears as if that story was only a rumor because we have just found out that William Barr appointed John Durham as special counsel back in October to ensure the investigation can continue after the inauguration. Here is more:

Attorney General William Barr has given extra protection to the prosecutor he appointed to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, granting him authority to complete the work without being easily fired.

Barr told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he had appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham as a special counsel in October under the same federal regulations that governed special counsel Robert Mueller in the original Russia probe. He said Durham’s investigation has been narrowing to focus more on the conduct of FBI agents who worked on the Russia investigation, known by the code name of Crossfire Hurricane.

That is all very well and good but it is nothing more than optics at this point. William Barr is sure to be fired and replaced after Joe Biden takes over and even if charges are recommended in the Durham report it will be up to the new Attorney General to decided whether or not to take action and I think we know what the answer to that question is already as the memories of Eric Holder are planted firmly in our heads.

Is this the same William Barr who has declared there is no evidence of fraud that would have affected the outcome of the election? Is this the same John Durham who has yet to issue his report on corruption, the report Which was promised release both after month a report that may at long last be released on the twelfth ofvnever? Piss on all these weak kneed swampers both left and right.

First I will have to believe that Durham isn’t a denizen of the Swamp. If he doesn’t come up with some solid indictments, or at least a number of resignations and firings, I will be convinced that he’s a fake.

I’m still stunned at how completely our election system has been infiltrated and controlled by the Libs.

Stilton’s Place has some interesting news out of Georgia. Use your best sources to see how much truth is here.

Currently, it looks like the fate of the republic currently rests on Georgia’s upcoming runoff election. If two Republicans win, the Senate will be able to curtail the worst of the deviltry that progressives are currently planning to inflict on us. If two Democrats win, it’s time to kiss America goodbye.

It’s a good thing that we can count on this being a fair and honest election, right? Or…will it be as much of a wildly corrupt clusterfudge as the general election a few weeks ago? We’ve got a pretty good idea, based on this post from our own John the Econ…
Just got a note from some friends in Georgia. As you might know, there’s a runoff election coming up that could literally change the character of the Senate which is now our only barrier against the type of runaway Progressive governance that gave us ObamaCare and other social and economic destruction in addition to the better part of a decade of malaise.

My friends subscribe to the USPS’s “informed delivery” service which sends you an email with pictures of the mail you can expect to find in your mailbox later in the day. They got a bit of a surprise yesterday when their informed delivery email included no fewer than three applications for absentee ballots that they did not request. And even bigger surprise arrived later when they received all of the mail described in their email except the aforementioned absentee ballot applications.

I wonder who will be voted for on those 3 ballots.

Related to that (and to our increasingly splitting headache) officials in Georgia have announced that they’ve already received more than 940,000 absentee ballot requests, although they weren’t quite clear on whether or not they were all requested by Stacey Abrams.

No doubt in my mind Durham and Barr are swamp creatures and have been putting on a show this whole time.
Thanks for all that info and for the link, I will have to check it out.

AS far as the corporate media is concerned I take great caution when the words “It was reported” are used. Example: dateline July 1943, Auschwitz: “It was reported today that Work shall make you free.”

Propaganda must be about 80% to be effective in most populations. Our current crop of corporate media types struggle with math but that truth has been reported to them.

The announcement letter from Barr and the formal paperwork appointing Durham as a Russiagate special counsel show that Barr appointed Durham as a special counsel nearly two months ago, on October 19, 2020.
