MSNBC analyst says Trump supporters need to be ‘deprogrammed’
Over the last week or so we have seen social media giants pounce at the opportunity to silence people they do not agree with by banning leading conservative voices on their platforms, as well as to tighten their stranglehold on the market by crushing competition such as Parler. And we know it is only a matter of time before they come after blogs…
This, however, is just the beginning. They are not going to stop simply at silencing the opposition because that means there is always the chance the opposition can rise again. They want to completely eliminate the opposition so that there is only one official opinion and that would happen to be the State opinion.
That is precisely what one MSNBC analyst proposed when he declared that Trump supporters, who he reminded everybody just happen to be mostly white Republicans, needed to be “deprogrammed.” Here is what he said:
The reeducation camps cannot be too far away. “He loved Big Brother.”
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
This kind of talk has been floating around the Progressive New Left for decades. When I was an undergrad at SF State Saigon, Phnom Penh, and Vientiene had fallen, Yellow Rain was falling, Reeducation camps sprung up like mushrooms after that Yellow Rain and millions either fled or were incarcerated. The reaction of leftists in this country was a big ho-hum and a shrug of the shoulders. When directly confronted with the logical and factual contradictions of Southeast Asian “liberation” very, very few would engage in honest discussion. Very few repudiated their premises preexisting the fall of Southeast Asia. This should have come as no surprise to anyone. Only a select few on the left ever questioned their opposition to the war, not the conduct, but the war itself. William Shawcross was one of the few. I had a chance to hear him speak early on in late 1976 when the evidence started coming out of mass incarceration and use of chemical weapons. He was vilified and excommunicated for his witness. The rest of leftist America and Europe tacitly concurred in the mass totalitarian oppression of SE Asia. Today they respond to that history with blank stares and silence. That, along with intellectual suppression of Soviet, Maoist and other communist atrocities proves their willingness to do nasty things and remain silent. That is exactly why this is possible here. As Hannah Arendt tells us, the banality of evil is the means to execute the motive. I have never met a more banal class than the American Progressive.

It’s the same old leftist playbook, isn’t it? Thanks for all that information!

Ask American Japanese during WWII how this all worked out.

I do not think I can adequately express my complete disgust with MSM and the thug legislators who took an oath to uphold our rights which includes freedom of speech…and then rushing an impeachment for the very things they are guilty of is beyond belief. Obviously, they have a lot to hide but Americans are being hurt in the process. Anyone not upholding our rights should be arrested and sent to China since they seem more comfortable living under that type of rule.

I understand your frustration, it is hard to adequately describe our feelings about what is going on in strong enough terms!

Leftists need to be rounded up and forced out of America to the socialist utopia of their choice.
