Secret Service arrests man who traveled to the White House to ‘kill all white police’
The Democratic strategy for the 2018 election and beyond is becoming quite evident: stir up the troops by calling all Trump supporters racists, white nationalists, and Nazis in order to drive them to the polls in disgust. It is interesting to note here that the “snowflakes” (a term I do not use) gave themselves this nickname because they said people cannot be lumped together because we are all different–just as are snowflakes–and yet here they are doing the same, but I digress…
But this strategy is dangerous because it has angered some on the left into violence. We saw it first when Steve Scalice and others were shot by a Bernie Sanders supporter at a charity baseball game practice. This led to a threat on other Republican Congressmen.
Over the weekend Rand Paul was attacked at his home while he was mowing his lawn by a leftist for political reasons and he suffered five broken ribs. Thankfully it was not worse because it could have been.
BuzzFeed subpoenas the Democratic National Committee for documents related to the Russian dossier
BuzzFeed was the original the original “news” outlet which published the mostly debunked Russian dossier which is at the heart of the investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Because of this BuzzFeed is being sued for libel.
In recent weeks it has come to light that the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign (recently it has been alleged that for all intents and purposes these two entities were one and the same) were behind the funding of the Russian dossier.
In the wake of this news, and possibly because of this news, BuzzFeed has issued a subpoena to the Democratic National Committee for documents related to the Russian dossier because they believe the document was being peddled by higher-ups in Washington. Here is more:
BuzzFeed has subpoenaed the Democratic National Committee for information related to the Democratic hack — its latest salvo in the media company’s efforts to defend itself against an ongoing libel suit connected to its publication of the infamous Steele dossier. The subpoena, a copy of which was reviewed by Foreign Policy, was served on the DNC Friday.
“One prong of our strategy is to prove that the dossier was being acted on and circulated by officials at the highest levels of government; but we would be remiss if we didn’t use every tool to determine the truth of what actually happened — and whether, as the dossier claims, Mr. Gubarev’s servers were behind the DNC hack,” Matt Mittenthal, a spokesperson for BuzzFeed News, told FP.
Maybe, just maybe, the tables are beginning to turn. The Democratic National Committee could not be reached for comment…

The investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign has been going on for roughly one year. Paul Manafort and two others have been arrested as a result of this investigation and today NBC reported that Robert Mueller has enough evidence to bring charges against Michael Flynn.
Much like the charges against the others it appears as if Michael Flynn could be charged with possible money laundering and lying to Federal agents. Nothing related to colluding with the Russians to change the outcome of the election.
Today Dianne Feinstein appeared on CNN and she was asked about Russian collusion and had to admit that to date she has still not seen any evidence, here is the video:
The Democrats are going to revel in the news of another possible indictment in the Russian collusion investigation, and this should be expected, but after one year of investigating this case it is looking more and more likely that no evidence will be brought forth in relation to the original intent of the investigation–unless one of these people can be flipped.
During the campaign Trump supporters assured us that Donald Trump’s lack of experience in government was nothing to worry about because he would surround himself with smart people who would be able to offset his inexperience. While to date none of these arrests points to any conclusion I think it is fair to call the President’s judgement into question. It is pretty clear he did not properly vet any of these people.

At the end of August the Senate Judiciary Committee released transcripts which appeared to show that James Comey had decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton months before actually interviewing her and other key witnesses in the email investigation.
According to new transcripts released by the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday afternoon, former FBI Director James Comey made the decision not to refer then Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for prosecution long before ever interviewing key witnesses. Members of the Committee allege Comey made the decision months before FBI agents were finished with the criminal investigation into her mishandling of classified information during her time as Secretary of State.
“According to the unredacted portions of the transcripts, it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has been seeking more documents from the FBI in regards to this revelation and the Injustice Department has just informed the Committee the FBI has begun to comply with this request. Here is more:
The FBI has begun turning over to Senate investigators hundreds of pages of memos regarding the bureau’s probe into Hillary Clinton‘s private email server, sources told The Hill.
The sources said the Justice Department notified the Senate Judiciary Committee late Friday and the FBI began transmitting memos soon after to assist Congress in its review of former Director James Comey’s handling of the Clinton email case.
The memos detail how and when the bureau’s leadership declined to pursue criminal charges against Clinton for transmitting classified information on her private email server as secretary of State, an investigation that has remained controversial since the 2016 presidential campaigns.
The Senate committee has been seeking the memos for some time as it investigates whether Comey chose to absolve Clinton of criminal liability before the election-year probe was complete and before she was even interviewed. Comey ultimately concluded that while Clinton’s handling of classified emails was careless, there was not enough evidence of intent to warrant criminal charges.
The FBI could not be reached for comment…
The fix was in, even liberals who are being honest with themselves know this but they just do not care. I am not hopeful anything will come from this but as long as Hillary Clinton is running around the country on her book tour, blaming everyone else for her loss (ironically even James Comey) I think we need to remind the American people just how corrupt the system is which tried to foist her on the American people. And that includes the FBI…

Elizabeth Warren admits the Democratic Primary was rigged
Thinking people have realized for quite some time the Democratic primary was rigged for Hillary Clinton because of the use of party insiders as Super-delegates. Most Bernie Sanders supporters probably did not realize this at first but as the Vermont Senator won primary victories in several states only to lose the delegate count in those states it soon became obvious to them as well.
Once Hillary Clinton “won” the nomination many of them decided to stay home because they understood the party did not care about their voice and to this day I still believe if the Democratic primary was not rigged Bernie Sanders would be President, but that is just conjecture on my part.
But even though many of us knew the Democratic primary was rigged we did not understand exactly how rigged it really was. It was not until Politico reported yesterday that one year before “winning” the nomination Hillary Clinton basically took over the Democratic National Committee and for all intents and purposes ran the daily operations of the entire party.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was asked about this new revelation and she admitted the Democratic primary was rigged and something need to be done about it, here is what she said:
Hillary Clinton defends funding the Russian dossier
A couple of weeks ago we learned that the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign (which apparently according to new book soon to be released by Donna Brazile were basically one and the same organization) were funding Fusion GPS at the time the group’s research morphed from opposition research into colluding with a foreign agent with ties to Russia.
Yesterday Hillary Clinton defended funding the Russian dossier, here is what she had to say:
Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday defended paying for a controversial dossier that alleged ties between President Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 election.
In a late-night interview on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” Clinton said there was a difference between her campaign paying for legal opposition research and Trump’s team possibly working with Russia to influence the election.
“I think most serious people understand that,” Clinton said. “This was research started by a Republican donor during the Republican primary, and when Trump got the nomination for the Republican Party, the people doing it came to my campaign lawyer.”
“He said ‘yes,’” Clinton added, referring to her campaign lawyer, Marc Elias. “He’s an experienced lawyer, he knows what the law is, he knows what opposition research is.”
At least, after two weeks of silence on the issue, the failed Presidential candidate admitted she funded the document which is now the basis for the Russia collusion investigation. This is also an admission that the Clinton campaign was doing exactly what the Trump campaign is accused of doing.
But she went on:
“I mean, he has to know — we’ll find out what he knew and how involved he was — but he had to know that people were making outreach to Russians, to the highest levels of the Kremlin, in order to help him, to hurt me, but more importantly to sow this divisiveness,” she added.
This is twisted logic and makes no sense: she is basically saying that it was okay for her to use Fusion GPS after the group started colluding with foreign agents in order to hurt Donald Trump because Donald Trump is actually the candidate that was colluding with a foreign government to hurt her even though to date there is no proof.
I honestly am at a total loss of words here over Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy on this issue! Here we have Hillary Clinton bashing Donald Trump for alleged collusion with the Russians while admitting and defending her collusion with the Russians. She is either delusional or she thinks the American people are stupid.

Nancy Pelosi seeks to calm Trump impeachment talk
With the arrest of Paul Manafort and two others last Monday the impeachment talk has been ramped up again by Democratic voters although these arrests appear to have nothing to do with Russia collusion–at least right now.
Apparently, according to this article, Nancy Pelosi has been working behind the scenes in recent weeks to quell the talk of impeachment because she believes it will be a distraction in the 2018 mid-term election. Here is more:
She told lawmakers at a Democratic leadership meeting soon after that she had reached out to the Democratic megadonor to tell him that his $10 million ad campaign was a distraction. (A source close to Steyer says he hasn’t spoken with Pelosi since the ad launched.)
Pelosi is eager to show her party can govern — in contrast to the chaos surrounding Trump — and believes that a reputation as the “No Drama Democrats” is key to taking back the House in 2018 and whisking her backing into the speaker’s chair.
While not an official slogan, Pelosi has discussed the strategy broadly in recent leadership and caucus meetings, urging members to avoid talk of impeachment and resist taking Trump’s bait on whatever topic is dominating his Twitter feed that day.
The ad mentioned in the first paragraph was about impeachment. Impeachment talk is red meat for Democratic voters. Talk of impeaching Donald Trump is sure to drive Democratic voters to the polls so why would Nancy Pelosi think this could be harmful to the Democrats prospects of taking back the Congress?
The impeachment talk revolves around the Russian collusion investigation and the Russian collusion investigation is based on the mostly debunked Russian dossier. Perhaps Nancy Pelosi realizes the Russian collusion investigation has become a double-edged sword with the news last week that the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign paid for the research which led to the Russian dossier.
It is either a great coincidence that Nancy Pelosi has recently looked to stifle impeachment talk in the wake of this revelation or she is worried about what might come to light if Robert Mueller does not wrap up this investigation quickly.
Paul Manafort and two others indicted in Russia probe, Tony Podesta steps down from the Podesta group
There are two big stories today, and they might be related so I thought I would combine them into one post. Of course the big news is that Paul Mannafort, one of his aides, and a third person were all indicted today in the Russian collusion investigation.
I think we all expected Paul Manafort’s indictment after the FBI raided his house so this is not surprising but it looks like he is facing quite a bit of jail time for money-laundering, tax fraud, and ten other counts.
I guess the good news for Donald Trump is that none of these charges appear to be related to collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign. The questions are, what else does he know, if anything? Does he have any information on the campaign he would be willing to trade for his freedom?
I tend to believe he has no information which can be used against Donald Trump however I wonder about the third person, George Papadopoulos, who has already pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his timeline on contact he had with a London professor who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton.
The President is claiming George Papadopoulos was a volunteer who was acting on his own but was he? Does he have information on Donald Trump he would be willing to give up to avoid jail time for perjury? I would think this scenario is more likely than Paul Manafort having anything on the President.
With the news last week that the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign were funding Fusion GPS when that group hired a foreign spy with ties to Russia in order to dig up dirt on Donald Trump I find the timing of these indictments, and the news being leaked to CNN two days ago, to be suspect.
Which leads me to the second big story of the day: Last week the FBI opened up a criminal investigation into the Podesta Group and its ties to Russia, and today Tony Podesta announced he was stepping down. Here is more on the much less covered story of the day:
Democratic power lobbyist Tony Podesta, founder of the Podesta Group, is stepping down from the firm that bears his name after coming under investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.
Podesta announced his decision during a firm-wide meeting Monday morning and is alerting clients of his impending departure.
The investigation into Podesta and his firm grew out of investigators’ examination of Manafort’s finances. Manafort organized a PR campaign on behalf of a nonprofit called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. Podesta Group was one of several firms that were paid to do work on the PR campaign to promote Ukraine in the U.S.
Podesta Group filed paperwork with the Justice Department in April stating that it had done work for the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine that also benefited the same Ukrainian political party that Manafort once advised. Podesta Group said at the time it believed its client was a European think tank untethered to a political party.
So it appears as if there are ties between the Podesta Group and Paul Manafort. Oh what a tangled web we weave…
Where does the investigation go from here and how deep is the corruption? Only time will tell but I do know this: if I was heavily involved in the campaign for either side I would not be sleeping well tonight.

House Intelligence Committee reaches an agreement with Fusion GPS for its bank records
A couple of weeks ago representatives for Fusion GPS appeared before the Congress and took the Fifth, shortly thereafter the group filed an injunction to block the Congress from gaining access to its financial records.
Today the House Intelligence Committee announced it has reached a deal with Fusion GPS to gain access to those closely guarded financial records, here is more:
The House Intelligence Committee said Saturday it has struck a deal to gain access to bank records from Fusion GPS, the firm behind the salacious anti-Trump dossier.
The company had recently attempted to block the committee’s subpoena for its banking records.
“The parties have reached an agreement related to the House Intelligence Committee’s subpoena for Fusion GPS’s bank records that will secure the Committee’s access to the records necessary for its investigation,” the intelligence committee said in a statement released Saturday.
Last week it was reported that the Washington Free Beacon funded Fusion GPS and hired the group to do opposition research on several Republican candidates during the 2016 election. When the Free Beacon decided to drop the project the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign picked up the funding and at that point Fusion GPS hired a foreign spy with ties to Russia and produced the now mostly discredited Russian dossier.
Knowing what we know now it is hard to see what can be gained from striking this deal, and I wonder if Fusion GPS would have agreed to this deal if the details did not already leak to the public, but still I think (not knowing what exactly the deal entails) this deal had to be made so we can maybe get to the bottom of this. The American people deserve to know if the Democratic party was colluding with the Russians during the 2016 campaign.
