Election Day is Upon Us

Election day is upon us, tomorrow Americans will head to the polls in record numbers. Their minds have been made up. There is nothing left to say, there is nothing left to write. But I feel as though I should write, so I am going to try.
I have spent the last several months trying to bring to light Barack Obama’s shady associations, his radical socialistic agenda, and his willingness to silence the opposition by killing free speech. But Barack Obama’s supporters have their minds made up, none of what I have written about bothers those that are voting for him. His supporters believe that I, and all others who have signaled the warning, as bieng paranoid and racist. That’s fine. I don’t care anymore what people out there think of me.
I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is going to be the next president of the United States, a country that his wife was never proud of. I am not okay with it but I have to accept it and I have. The only (audacity of) hope that remains is the undecided voters. I believe that the only people who could possibly be undecided are those that desperately want to vote for Obama but have reservations about doing so. Using that theory I think that many undecided voters will break towards McCain. Will it be enough? I doubt it, but you never know. We have seen the media skewer the polls in the Democrat’s favor the last two elections in order to try and suppress Republican turnout. Could this be the case again?
As I said, I have already resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is going to win the election so I am trying to look at other races for a glimmer of hope. I turn toward local politics and find that while New Hampshire will stay blue it doesn’t appear as though Democrats will add to their majority more than one seat in the state senate, and the state house should also remain close to it’s current level. That is a victory, a small one at that but I truly expected the majority to swell. Perhaps it will. The New Hampshire executive council looks poised to swing from a 3-2 Democrat majority to a 3-2 Republican majority. Another small victory if this holds but I will take whatever victory I can get at this point.
The senate race between John Sununu and Jeanne Shaheen looks fairly close with Shaheen leading, but a strong turnout for McCain could help Sununu. I just have this feeling that McCain is going to pull the upset here in New Hampshire. I have nothing to base this on, just a feeling that I have.
The New Hampshire Republicans may pick up one house seat if Jeb Bradley can defeat Carol Shea-Porter in a close race.
I am now looking for any small victory that I can find and at this point with the anti-Republican sentiment being so high it would be a small victory to hold the Democrats from gaining a super majority. That is where I will be focusing my attention tomorrow. It is of the utmost importance that senate Democrats do not gain a 60 vote majority. We can’t afford it, figuratively and literally.
And in closing, with a President Obama almost a guarantee, I would like to take this time to say that I will treat President Obama with the same respect that the left gave to President Bush.
It’s the least that I could do.
In this video Barack Obama admits that by raising taxes on the energy companies the cost will be passed on to consumers. This is not a new idea but it is something that the left doesn’t like to admit. Their whole mantra is punishing bigbusiness, but they neglect to mention that when taxes go up on big business that the cost is passed on to the consumer. A Plea to New Hampshire Voters

Election day is almost here, and the polls are tightening around the country. New Hampshire polls show Barack Obama with a ten point lead over John McCain but in New Hampshire we are well aware of what that means. Not much.
In the Democrat primary in January the New Hampshire polls showed Barack Obama with a ten point lead. Hillary Clinton went on to victory. New Hampshire voters can make a difference in this year’s election. New Hampshire’s four electoral votes could play a major factor in the outcome of the election. Even if Barack Obama goes on to win the presidency, there are several other races that New Hampshire voters need to focus on.
Polls show that Republicans will regain control of the executive council, reversing the 3-2 Democrat majority. That is the one gain that looks assured. Polls are close all across the state and it looks as though Democrats are going to keep their majorities at about the same level that they are right now. This is not as bad as I feared, but we can make a difference. We can gain our majorities back if only we unite and get to the polls. Don’t let the dire predictions stop you from voting. That’s what the predictors hope to accomplish.
Republicans didn’t show up to vote in 2006 and we have paid the price here in New Hampshire, we can’t afford to let that happen again. I call out to all of those complacent Republicans to get up, get out, and GO VOTE! Your vote has never been more important.
John McCain remains popular in New Hampshire and we need all of his supporters to get to the polls no matter how bleak you may feel that it is. McCain’s supporters we need you to go to the polls and vote for John Sununu. We can’t let Jeanne Shaheen, the author of the statewide property tax that most New Hampshirites are bitching about, to become senator. We need to re-elect John Sununu.
We can turn New Hampshire around and we can do it in this election. Sure we will be re-electing John Lynch, barring the miracle that I am still foolishly holding out hope for, but the other state races can be won if only Republicans show up to the polls on Tuesday.
New Hampshire voters, tired of George Bush, made a horrific choice in 2006, now we have the chance to correct that mistake. Don’t let this opportunity slip by. New Hampshire can’t afford it.

John Boehner calls Barack Obama “Chicken shit”
House Minority Leader John Boehner has been campaigning around the country for house Republicans and John McCain. During a stop he had this to say about Barack Obama’s voting record 9or lack thereof):
“Now, listen, I’ve voted ‘present’ two or three times in my entire 25-year political career, where there might have been a conflict of interest and I didn’t feel like I should vote,” Boehner said. “In Congress, we have a red button, a green button and a yellow button, alright. Green means ‘yes,’ red means ‘no,’ and yellow means you’re a chicken shit. And the last thing we need in the White House, in the oval office, behind that big desk, is some chicken who wants to push this yellow button.”
Needless to say this comment didn’t go over too well, even with the Republicans who were present. This is the type of comment that could come back to haunt Boehner and other Republicans as Democrats now have a rallying cry.
But the point that Boehner was trying to make is a good one. Barack Obama has consistently voted “present” on the toughest issues that he faced in his 140 days in the senate before he began his run for president. He has voted “present” 129, almost once a day.
“Obama consistently took a pass on making tough decisions and that’s just not something you can do as president,” said Don Seymour, director of communications for The Freedom project, a right wing political action committee.
That is the point that Boehner was trying to make and it is a legitimate one. How can a man who either was afraid to make a tough decision or unwilling to let the people know his true stance on a tough issue be expected to make a tough decision when he is in the White House?
How can this man be trusted when he has so cunningly hidden who he is and his true radical left agenda? All we know is that he offers change. He has promised everything to everybody and he can never deliver on all of his promises without taxing the shit out of all working Americans. Raising taxes is not a tough decision for him, we know where he stands. That is change, but it is not good change.
Barack Obama has this veil of secrecy around him. We are not allowed to discuss his past association, that is considered a personal attack. We are not supposed to mention his middle name. He has banned television stations from interviews if they ask tough questions. He has threatened other television stations with the loss of their FCC licenses if they run negative commercials about him. He has kicked reporters off of his plane because the newspapers that they write for endorsed John McCain. He will end free speech on the radio so anyone with a contrary opinion to his will never again have a voice to speak out. And he has carefully hidden his voting record by voting “present.”
It probably wasn’t helpful for Boehner to call Obama a chicken shit but you know what? Chicken shit is the best way to describe him.
A Plea to Massachusetts Voters

On Tuesday Massachusetts voters will head to the polls and they have a very important decision to make. I am not talking about the presidential race , that is a forgone conclusion in Massachusetts, I am talking about question 1. A “yes” vote on question 1 will abolish the income tax over a two year period. The 5+% income tax would be lowered to 2+% in year one and eliminated altogether in year two.
It is time to abolish the state income tax and force the one party government of Massachusetts to be accountable for all of their wasteful spending. Proponents of the income tax abolition are using scare tactics against you. They claim that if question1 passes that property taxes will be greatly increase but they forget that property taxes can’t increase by more that 2.5% without an over-ride question being voted on and passed. Schools, firemen, and police will not be cut, what will be cut is the culture that allows corrupt politicians like Dianne Wilkerson, Tom Finneran, Billy Bulger, and all of the others to prosper.
It is time to stand up and stop the wasteful spending, it is time to end the state income tax. Massachusetts will be better off if the politicians have less money to steal spend.
I say this as a New Hampshire resident who pays Massachusetts income tax. I do not have a say in this but you do. Please do the right thing. It is times like this that I wish I were a Democrat because then I could illegally register in your state and vote down there with no questions asked in addition to voting in New Hampshire but I am a Republican so I can only vote in my state.
Do the right thing Massachusetts and get rid of the state income tax, you will be amazed at how much the government gets reigned in when there is not as much “wealth for them to spread around.”
Barack Obama’s Aunt is an Illegal Alien
Today we leaned that Barack Obama’s aunt is an illegal alien and we also learned that she is on welfare. The left would have us believe that this does not reflect on the candidate, but it does. The left would say that we should stick to the issues. What does a relative of Obama have to do with the candidate?
Well I am going to tell you what Obama’s aunt has to do with the candidate. This is a perfect reflection on the America that Barack Obama perceives. Barack Obama has called Americans that don’t want to pay higher taxes selfish. Because we would rather keep more of our own money to take care of our families rather than those people who we do not know we are selfish. I don’t know when taking care of your family became objectionable and selfish but according to Obama it is.
Which leads us to Obama’s aunt. According to Barack Obama you and I should give more taxes to support people like Barack Obama’s aunt. If we are not willing to do that than we are selfish. According to Barack Obama it is our duty to take care of his aunt.
Barack Obama made millions of dollars from a book that he wrote and in this book he talked about his illegal alien, welfare cheating aunt, yet he himself has not given her a penny to help her out. To me that makes Barack Obama the selfish one. He made millions off of her and the rest of his family and he is not willing to lend a hand to help her or his brother who lives in a shack in Kenya and is ashamed to admit to his neighbors that he is Barack’ brother.
Somehow the left has deemed it the responsibility of the government to “spread the wealth around” and to help those that are unwilling to help themselves. Barack Obama’s aunt is the perfect example of this. While Obama could have helped her he feels it is the responsibility of the government (you and I) to do so. Why should he help his aunt when he can tax us and we can provide for her and the many others like her. He is unwilling to do what he claims we are too selfish to do.
Barack Obama needs to look in the mirror before he calls you and I selfish.
Barack Obama Says that Wanting Lower Taxes is Selfish
Barack Obama originally said that his tax plan calls for increasing the taxes of those who make over $250,000. Recently in a speech he refined the number to $200,000 and even more recently Joe Biden was heard saying that the number was $150,000. The number has been slowly creeping downwards.
Barack Obama’s numbers do not add up, he has proposed $1 trillion in new spending and increasing the taxes on people making over $250,000 is not enough to pay for all of his socialistic ideas. Giving a tax break to 95% of Americans, whether they pay taxes or not, is not feasible with all of his proposed spending. Ain’t gonna happen. He is full of shit. So the number is coming down, slowly but surely until most working Americans are facing a tax increase.
Barack Obama is also going to let the Bush tax cuts expire which will raise the taxes on middle class America. The man is lying about his tax policy and people are falling for it just as they did when Bill Clinton promised a middle class tax cut. We are still waiting for that tax cut.
Barack Obama has now upped his attack on those of us who do not want our taxes raised. He calls us selfish.
“John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this socialistic,” Obama continued. “You know I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness.”
My wife and I are middle class, we are doing alright for ourselves. We have some extra money, but not allot. We realize that even though Obama is promising not to raise our taxes that his spending proposals can’t be met without increasing our taxes, and middle class Americans would be well served if they also came to this conclusion. My wife and I work hard to provide for our two teenage boys and it isn’t easy.
When I hear Barack Obama call people who have the audacity (of hope) to want to keep more of their hard earned money so that they can better provide for their own families it really burns my ass. There is nothing more important in this life than making sure that you can provide for your family. Family comes first. Barack Obama’s plan will make it harder for me and my wife to provide for our families, if it makes me selfish in Obama’s eyes than so be it.
We already know that Obama doesn’t share the same opinion as I do, just ask his aunt who lives in a slum in Boston or his brother who lives in a shack in Kenya.
Two-Thirds of Iraq now Under Local Control
With the recent turnover to the Iraqis of Wasit province by the United States government two-thirds of Iraq is now under local control.
Political progress continued to gain momentum in Iraq this month with the U.S. military transferring authority to local officials in the Wasit and Babil Provinces.
Wasit was transferred on Wednesday and Babil was transferred on October 23.
That means 13 out of 18 provinces, two-thirds of the country, have been turned over to local authorities.
Meanwhile Barack Obama bitterly clings to the notionthat the surge has failed because political reconciliation hasn’t been reached. He continues to ignore the facts for political reasons. He is not alone on the left with this belief.
Some congressional critics of the Bush administration claim that even as the U.S. military has succeeded in expelling al Qaeda, the Iraqi government has not fulfilled its obligations. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made this point in response to a question from CNSNews.com earlier this year.
“The purpose of the surge,” which started in January 2007, “was to create a secure period of time so the government of Iraq would have political room to take actions that would bring [political] reconciliation to Iraq,”
Once it became clear that the surge was successful Democrats who predicted it would fail began to alter what the goal of the surge was. Suddenly the goal, in their minds, became the political reconciliation of Iraq. But that was not the goal and people know this and see through this.
“This has been the fallback position for those who did not support the pursuit of victory in Iraq,” Captain Pete Hegseth, chairman of Vets for Freedom (VFF), said in an interview. “They are on the record as saying that this [the surge] would not work and now that it has they continue to back peddle and say that there has been no political progress when it is no longer plausible to say so.”
Even if we humor the left and for the sake of argument agree that the goal of the surge was political reconciliation, as the quote above states they are no longer able to claim the surge failed. Political gains have been made in most of Iraq and will continue to be until we can bring the troops home in victory.
Use of Government Computers to Check on “Joe the Plumber” was more Intrusive than First Thought
I first wrote about the use of government computers to check into the background of “Joe the plumber” here. It now appears as though these computers were used more extensively than originally thought.
Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, disclosed today that computer inquiries on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher were not restricted to a child-support system.
The agency also checked Wurzelbacher in its computer systems to determine whether he was receiving welfare assistance or owed unemployment compensation taxes, she wrote.
She was forced to reveal this when the Ohio senate president demanded to know why good ole Joe was suffering this violation of his right to privacy.
Harris called the multiple records checks “questionable” and said he awaits more answers. “It’s kind of like Big Brother is looking in your pocket,” he said.
This is how Jones-Kelley tried to spin it:
Not surprisingly, when a person behind in child support payments or receiving public assistance is receiving significant media attention which suggests that the person appears to have available financial resources, the Department risks justifiable criticism if it fails to take note and respond,” Jones-Kelley wrote.
The only problem is that our favorite plumber is not involved in any child support cases, this is a cover. The truth is that Joe the plumber is only guilty of one crime, daring to ask the chosen one a question that he didn’t like.
Ever since that fateful day when Barack Obama knocked on “Joe’s” door he has been scrutinized by the media and the Obama campaign. He must be discredited because he has been effective. The left is tired of good ole Joe and with good reason, he has helped McCain make some gains in the polls. And for that he must be punished, even if it means the government will peek into his personal files.
And we were told that it was President Bush that was spying on us.
The left was right about one thing, Big Brother IS watching, and his name is Barack Obama.
