This is just priceless. Ever since Al Gore went green to save the planet, his energy consumption went up 10%. I giggle just thinking about this and about how so many people have bought into this man’s hoax. Then I start to get annoyed by the same thought.
In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy efficient, the power use at the former vice president’s house has increased more than 10 percent, a nonprofit research group reported Tuesday.
Why does anybody take this man seriously. He is a fraud. pure and simple. Even his propaganda “documentary” used computer generated images stolen from a fictional movie. How this man ever got to be an authority on the issue I will never know, but what I do know is that Al Gore is making a killing off of this whole green movement.
“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, in a news release. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”
Do as I say, not as I do is Al Gore’s motto. I can’t get over the audacity of this man in trying to tell us that we have to “sacrifice” for the good of the environment while he uses more electricity in one month that the Average American uses in one year!
It is all about the money:
“Actions speak louder than words, and Gore’s actions prove that he views climate change not as a serious problem, but as a money-making opportunity,” Johnson added. “Gore is exploiting the public’s concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile.”
The worst part of this whole thing is that it really seems to be catching on. It is being taught in schools. We see commercials run on a daily basis that push this agenda. We see politicians from both sides of the isle promising to curb global warming. They are afraid not to because they are afraid they won’t look “eco-friendly.” Hell, even Newt Gingrich appeared in a save the planet, save the environment commercial with Nancy Pelosi. Damn that is enough to make me sick.
We need to wake up before it is too late and our money is being stolen from us in the name of global warming. This is a money grab of epic proportions and it will kill the already slowing economy as well as line the pockets of BIG GOVERNMENT.
This “movement” is going to lead to bigger government, higher taxes, and more government intrusion. The liberal trifecta, only now conservatives are poised to enter the ring also.
On a side note, guess whose home is very eco-friendly. President Bush’s. One man talks the talk, the other walks the walk.
Top Ranking Haditha Marine may Sue John Murtha
Now that Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the Haditha case he is contemplating a libel lawsuit against the man that called he and his fellow marines “cold blooded killers”, Democrat Rep. John Murtha. I hope this fucker gets strung up by the balls. I am sorry for the harsh language but I get so damn aggravated when I hear someone like John Murtha shit on the troops the way he did. It is one thing to see the moonbats protest and yell no blood for oil and Bush lied, people died, it is their constitutional right, but it is another thing to see an elected official take the word of the enemy over the word of our marines and disparage them the way this man did.
John Murtha decided to use the Haditha case to not only slander the fine marines in Iraq, but to also 
use it as an example of why President Bush should not have “invaded” Iraq. He tries to claim that these marines were over stressed because of the Iraq war and weren’t thinking clearly. He put the blame squarely on the president’s shoulders. He did not care what would happen to these marines because of his words, he only cared about damaging the president. If he had to libel and slander these heroes, so be it. The ends justify the means in his eyes. He didn’t care that these marines were facing a trial, all he cared about was turning public opinion against the president, these marines reputations be damned.
Well now one marine is stepping up to the plate (that’s what these fine men and women in uniform do) and saying he is not going to take it.
Here is what John Murtha said about these marines before they stood trial:
”Well, I’ll tell you exactly what happened. One Marine was killed and the Marines just said we’re going to take care – we don’t know who the enemy is, the pressure was too much on them, so they went into houses and they actually killed civilians.”
And:
“there was no firefight, there was no IED that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.”
The facts of the case weren’t in, the trial hadn’t started, and the word of our enemy was accepted as fact by John Murtha who then went on national television and repeated what the enemy had reported. There was no thought about due process here, only thought about political gain.
Well now perhaps we will get due process and John Murtha will pay. Not only does he owe retributions to the marines he defamed, he should resign.
On second thought I take back my apology for my earlier harsh language. I meant what I said.
17 Massachusetts Students “Deliver” on Vow of Pregnancy
I have written a few posts on the subject of schools giving out birth control, in some cases without the parent’s approval and in some cases to children as young as eleven years old. Inevitably the argument is always made that kids are going to have sex anyway so why not make it safe? My argument is that by making birth control easily available you are in turn condoning and actually encouraging children to have sex. You are giving them a permission slip.
In Gloucester Massachusetts 17 girls, the oldest of which is 16 years old have taken a vow to become pregnant so that they can all raise their babies together. Isn’t that sweet? They followed through on it and are all now pregnant. One girl was impregnated by a 24 year old homeless man. (Who’s paying for this baby? I think we know)
I argue that this is actually an extension of my point that handing out birth control is encouraging sex. You have to remember that we are talking about children here, and children are not always thinking straight. As if that point really needed to be made. The point can easily be made that children who have been told that if they want birth control so that they can have sex without getting pregnant might begin to ask themselves, “what if I want a baby?”
Sex has already been approved by some of the people who are supposed to be looking out for our children, so the next logical step to a child not thinking straight could be, “if sex is okay for someone who doesn’t want a baby, then what about me? I want a baby.” And they take the next step. Which they did.
I understand that teenagers are going to have sex, I understand that these girls had no problem finding volunteers, but by encouraging sex through free birth control the problem is just expedited.
I believe these two issues are linked and I believe this is why you do not hand out free birth control to any child who asks for it.
Democrats want to Nationalize the Oil Companies
Move over Hugo Chavez, you have company. Democrats, following you lead now favor nationalizing oil refineries. Proving once again that Democrats are nothing more than socialists.
Democrats called for the government to own refineries so it could better control the flow of the oil supply.
We all laughed when Maxine Waters threatened this very action not all that long ago, but Democrats now seem willing to “nationalize” the oil companies. Don’t you love the code word “nationalize”? It means socialize. That term failed in the 90’s when it came to nationalized/socialized health care and it should fail now.
Democrats are no longer hiding who they are. And I suppose that we should commend them for finally showing us their true agenda. We all know that they are socialists but they have always hidden from the moniker. But now they seem to embrace it. The question is are the American people finally able to embrace the idea that government control over more and more private industries is acceptable?
I hope not, but I fear that is the case.
First it is “national’ health care and then it’s “national” oil, and then it’s, well it’s “national” something. You get the drift. Once government is permitted a hostile takeover of one private industry, and then another, who the hell knows where it will stop. Which businesses are subject to a government takeover? Whichever one make the most money. That’s what it is all about, the government making more and more money. The government is jealous of the oil companies revenues and they want in on it.
As I said at the top of this post, Hugo Chavez move over, there is a new socialist government about to gain control of a country. And it is the Democrats.
I know I am a couple of days late with this post but it is too important to let this issue go just because I am a little late.
The other day the charges against the top ranking marine accused of killing civilians in Iraq were dropped. Out of the eight marines charged with murder the charges have been dropped against seven. Only the marine who supposedly was the ringleader still faces charges and his case has been postponed.
This is a stunning turn of events considering that John Murtha had already found them guilty two years ago.
In case you forgot, this is what Democrat John Murtha had to say about the Marines before they even stood trial,”Well, I’ll tell you exactly what happened. John Murtha just assumed the marines were guilty before they had due process and what bothers me the most probably isn’t even the fact that he presumed them guilty but more the reason why. He was using them as political pawns against President Bush. In his mind it was justifiable to hang these marines out to dry just to prove that President Bush was wrong. This man is a disgrace, he is despicable, and a liar.
John Murtha owes these marines, their families, and America an apology.
Barack Obama’s Stance on the Second Amendment
While I was reading Democrat=Socialist yesterday I came across a link on a multi-subject post to this article on Pajamas Media that I found very interesting. I just had to write on the subject also.
Respect the Second Amendment: Millions of hunters own and use guns each year. Millions more participate in a variety of shooting sports such as sporting clays, skeet, target, and trap shooting that may not necessarily involve hunting. As a former constitutional law professor, Barack Obama believes the Second Amendment creates an individual right, and he greatly respects the constitutional rights of Americans to bear arms. He will protect the rights of hunters and other law-abiding Americans to purchase, own, transport, and use guns for the purposes of hunting and target shooting. He also believes that the right is subject to reasonable and commonsense regulation.
That statement comes directly from Barack Obama’s website. Notice anything missing in that statement? The right to self defense? Where is that mentioned? He states that he will protect the rights of hunters and the people’s right to own guns for target shooting. Let’s look at what the second amendment actually says:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
I don’t see anything there about the people’s right to hunt, but let’s look again.

Nope, nothing there about hunting. As a matter of fact I don’t see anything there about the people’s right to target shoot either. That was not the intent of the second amendment.
Barack Obama does not understand what the second amendment stands for. Or he does and he disagrees with it. He can’t possibly believe that the second amendment protects target shooting and hunting but does not protect a person’s right to defend himself, can he? Let’s look at Barack Obama’s stance on several gun control issues.
- As a state legislator in Illinois, Obama supported banning the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic firearms, increasing state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms
- He supported a “ban” on the sale and possession of handguns on a political questionnaire
- As state senator, he voted against a 2004 measure that allowed self-defense as an affirmative defense to those charged with violating local laws making it otherwise unlawful for such persons to possess firearms.
- He voted against allowing persons who had obtained domestic violence protective orders to carry handguns for their protection.
- Obama has also stated his opposition to allowing citizens to carry concealed guns and supports a national law outlawing the practice
What do you think now? Barack Obama is against selling and owning handguns. He is against using a gun in self defense, he is opposed to concealed carry and supports a federal ban on concealed carry.
Barack Obama does not support the second amendment at all. He can pander to the sportsmen all he wants but he is ignoring the true meaning of the second amendment. He doesn’t like the second amendment, he has contempt and disdain for it. While the statement from his website says he respects the second amendment his words and his actions prove otherwise.
By the way, isn’t he alienating PETA and the like with his position on hunting? Did he forget about them?
There has been a theory by New Hampshire Republicans that John McCain’s nomination could be a very good thing for New Hampshire. The theory goes something like this; John McCain is very popular in New Hampshire and will draw many New Hampshire Independents to the polls as well as some Democrats across the isle to vote for McCain. The trickle down effect would be that more Republicans would then oust incumbent Democrats and possible even oust Governor John Lynch.
That theory is nothing but a pipe dream if you ask me and this article from the New Hampshire Union Leader gives us a prime example of why.
During a time in which Republicans in New Hampshire are trying to rid the state of the fiscally irresponsible, tax and spend Democrats up to and including Governor Lynch does John McCain show any support to Joe Kenney, the Republican candidate for governor? No, as a matter of fact he is busy playing kissy face with Governor John Lynch.
MUTUAL ADMIRATION between Republican presidential candidate John McCain and Democratic Gov. John Lynch continued last week.
Riding on the “Straight Talk Express” bus from his Nashua town hall meeting to the airport in Manchester on Thursday, McCain received a telephone call from New Hampshire’s top Democrat — our governor.
It was described to us as a friendly chat. Small talk. Lynch essentially welcomed the Arizona senator back to the Granite State.
But it is more than just that, back in October this is what the Republican turncoat had to say:
McCain that day called Lynch a “great governor” and thanked him for governing the state in a “bipartisan fashion.”
You know what Senator McCain? You are not helping us here, please just leave us alone. We don’t want you here basically endorsing John Lynch over the Republican candidate. You don’t know what is going on in this state, please just shut up.
You have worked against the national Republicans for eight years and now you are working against New Hampshire Republicans. Go home.

Homegrown New Hampshire state Senator Joe Kenney is the Republican nominee for governor to take on the liberal, tax and spend, deficit building, nanny state, rights infringing Democrat John Lynch (also known as teflon Lohn).
Joe Kenney has been in state politics for 14 years and is a former Marine. While in the senate and also being an active Marine reservist Joe Kenney was called to duty and served two tours in Iraq where he still managed to work on senate business, when he had the chance, from a laptop in Iraq.
While in the Marines he achieved the rank of Lt. Col proving that he unlike John Lynch, is a leader.
Joe Kenney will be fiscally responsible in a manner that teflon John only can lie about. His first statement after filing for governor proves this. He agreed to a spending cap on his campaign while challenging teflon John to do the same. Lynch refused. No surprise there.
Here is where he sees New Hampshire going under Lynch and where he wants to bring New Hampshire:
“I see our state drifting away, turning into northern Massachusetts,” he said. “Someone has got to take on John Lynch, and I can’t think of any other, better person than a United States Marine who grew up in New Hampshire.”
“Let’s Keep New Hampshire, New Hampshire.”
Let’s keep New Hampshire, New Hampshire is his campaign slogan and this is music to my ears. Here is his position on a few other issues:
Kenney vowed to privatize Cannon Mountain, to remove the state from a New England compact on carbon emissions and to push for a full-service veterans hospital in New Hampshire. Above all, Kenney said he would cut spending; asked to specify how, Kenney noted “special interest pieces” of the state’s $10.3 billion two-year budget and named LCHIP, the $12 million state fund for preserving historic and natural sites.
Kenney criticized Lynch for pushing the Legislature to let him bond $80 million in school building aid to balance the state budget. The issue wasn’t properly vetted, Kenney said, and “never had a public hearing.”
“It never was editorialized,” Kenney said. “That’s not how we do things here in New Hampshire. We air things out.”
That wasn’t how we used to do things in New Hampshire until John Lynch took over. Teflon John’s MO is to hide his position on any legislation until it passes and then he will either veto or sign it. The best example of this was during the civil unions debate. During this debate Lynch refused to give a position, but once the bill passed he called up a few supporters just one hour before he signed it because he was too chicken shit to face any protesters that might gather. That is not leadership. It will be nice to get the transparency back in New Hampshire politics as well as some leadership.
We also vows to take a more hands on approach than Governor Lynch.
If elected, Kenney vowed to be more “hands-on” and not delegate authority to people who lack experience.
“He basically is allowing his commissioners, who are very inexperienced, to carry out their departments,”
When asked about the biggest difference between he and Governor Lynch, Joe Kenney replied “I’m a leader. Gov. Lynch is not.”
So without further ado and to the surprise of nobody, Wake Up America endorses Joe Kenney for Governor of New Hampshire.

Senator Chris Dodd Caught in the Culture of Corruption

The chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, Senator Chris Dodd has been receiving preferential treatment on loans that he has taken out through Countrywide. You remember Countrywide don’t you? Countrywide is one of the “big bad predatory loan” companies that is now considered to be at the heart of the mortgage crisis. That is if you refuse to blame the people that took out the loans that they couldn’t afford.
The chairman of the banking committee is getting special treatment? Naturally he denies any wrongdoing.
“As a United States senator, I would never ask or expect to be treated differently than anyone else refinancing their home. This suggestion is outrageous and contrary to my entire career in public service,” Dodd said in a statement.
“When my wife and I refinanced our loans in 2003, we did not seek or expect any favorable treatment. Just like millions of other Americans, we shopped around and received competitive rates.”
He is in the VIP loan program at Countrywide,also known as the FOA program, The Friends of Angelo program (Angelo is the CEO), and he didn’t know this would give him a special rate? I declare BULLSHIT!
This all comes out when Dodd is getting ready to introduce a huge federal taxpayer bailout of the people who spent over their heads. How ironic is it that as Dodd is preparing to make us pay for other people’s mortgages he was getting a break on his?
There has to be a congressional hearing on this. We must demand it. Arlen Specter is wasting time trying to find out if his Steelers got screwed by the Patriots, there have been two congressional hearings on steroids in baseball, the oil companies have been grilled, the polar bears have been named endangered, and we are supposed to believe this isn’t a big enough scandal to investigate? Once again I declare BULLSHIT!
Countrywide had a sweetheart deal with Fanny Mae and speculation on the news tonight is that Countrywide was looking to buy some protection through the sweetheart deals to not only Chris Dodd but other senators (mostly Democrats).
This needs to be looked into. This man is the chairman of the Banking Committee in the senate, as well as a former presidential candidate and many believe the front runner to the vice presidency. Not to investigate this would be criminal in itself.
