Obamacare: 239,000 enrollees still have not verified their immigration status
According to this article 239,000 Obamacare enrollees have not verified their immigration status and if they do not do so by September 5th they will be notified they are losing their coverage at the end of the month.
According to the article some of the people have not been able to upload their immigration documents to the healthcare website because, claims to the contrary aside, the website still does not seem to be functioning properly.
While these people cannot be blamed for the ineptitude of the Federal government and its website there are those who are simply ignoring the notices the Federal government is sending them:
“People do not know what they say or that they’re important. Many have been putting them aside or throwing them away,” Philadelphia immigration advocate Amy Jones told The AP.
How many people, after receiving an official notice from the Federal government simply choose to ignore it? I sure as hell would not! Maybe people who were not eligible for Obamacare in the first place…
The excuse given by immigration advocates is this: the Obama regime is only sending these notices out in English and Spanish so many people cannot read them. However these people had no problem signing up for Obamacare in the first place, but let that go.
Does anybody really think that Barack Obama is going to do what he claims the Republicans want to do and take away their insurance? I do not, in fact I see another rule change coming which will do away any type of immigration status verification, now and forevermore…

It is interesting that Obummer has not come out with his immigration edict. No doubt waiting until after the election. Anything to bankrupt our country sooner rather than later.

Is there anything about the ACA that is on the up and up? Seems to me that it is full of everything illegal that could be shoved into it. The websites to sign up were and are a total joke, we were lied to about what it contained, the people that had coverage before it, now alot of them are without it. Where is the good that it was supposed to do? I guess there are still those out there that think it was a good thing, but I wish someone would explain it to me, I just don’t understand. All I can see is ones that had insurance at a reasonable rate now are going to be paying out the ass for the same coverage. I see people that were on the dole before still getting coverage and I see people that wanted coverage that could not get it, now have to pay big bucks OR be fined. They sure fooled alot of people, didn’t they? What a bunch of liars we have in power!

Why would they sabotage the website to begin with, when (supposedly) they’re expecting to get revenue from it. This is one of those ‘crazy making scenarios’. They set the scene to make us think one thing, then change it, complications which cause confusion and allow private information to be hacked, etc. and it still not work. It seems to be another red herring ruse, while giving the insurance comps the opportunity to up the rates, without increasing benefits … except for including abortions and sex changes. Wacky.

The plan has always been a single payer system. Insurers raise their rates, the people complain and look to the government to help them, support for single-payer goes up and the then government takes over.

Zip, I figure it is working out as planned for them. When anyone balks, they just tweak it a bit until the complaining stops. I am sure they have an end plan, but as to how they get to the end, is what is in question. I am with Steve on this one, it has always been about single payer. The all knowing, all seeing Government knows what is best for us little people…makes you feel like you are in OZ and the wizard is taking care of the munchkins. Just watched The Wizard of Oz about 10 times with the 4 year old grandson we were watching for this past week, sorry, that is the comparison that popped into my mind, haha!
