Illegal Alien Given a Break, Charged in Hit and Run Death of American Citizen
I found an article at thatpoliticalblog.com that really is infuriating. This is the article that was linked to at that site.
An illegal alien who was on probation for a DWI hit and killed an American citizen. How was he allowed to stay in this country after being arrested for drunk driving? He broke the law to get here, why would he uphold the laws of the land once he is here?

Melendres was just convicted last week on a DWI charge from a March 16, 2006, incident. He was sentenced to probation, alcohol assessment and treatment
Who was going to pay for this? The tax payers, we know he didn’t have any insurance. Why would he need any if he gets it from the government for free.
Sohe is out on probation, sentenced to treatment that we will pay for if he shows up for it and he kills a US citizen. This cannot be tolerated any more.
N.C. Rep. Sue Myrick, a proponent of immigration reform, says the only thing that would keep such illegal immigrants off the streets after drinking is to deport them once they’re convicted of DWI.
That sounds good but why wait until they commit a second crime to deport them? But it’s obviously better than what we are doing right now.
We need to secure the borders and stop this invasion, it’s only a matter of time before terrorists walk in from the south unimpeded, if they haven’t already.

So many areas are refusing to report and comply with crimes committed by illegals that it is getting a bit frustrating.
However, it would probably be wrong to paint this one illegal with a brush and blame the issues with DWI on him, which is what some are doing, and that just marginalizes people who want to effect real change which is positive and lasting.
What is needed is a policy to put this hot potato to rest.

I live at ground zero of the illegal alien invasion. The case above is not an isolated incident. Not a week goes by that I dont hear of something similar committed by an illegal here in So Cal.
It is a cancer brought upon us by both the Democrats and the Bush administration. We have to regain control of our borders. Now.
I will make sure to vote against EVERY politician I can that supports open borders regardless of party. Nothing less will work.
