Harry Reid: “Global Warming is Responsible for California Wildfires”
It was only a matter of time before a politician , and I would have correctly guessed a Democrat, would blame global warming for the wildfires in California. Today Harry Reid did just that.
“One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters Tuesday, stressing the need to pass the Democrats’ comprehensive energy package.
If we only pass the Democrats plan we will have no more fires.
This man is disgraceful, can you imagine using something like this to push a political agenda? With so many people losing everything they own, and so many others facing the horror that they may also lose everything, Harry Reid thinks this is a great opportunity to push his agenda.
Harry Reid placed his Democrat agenda ahead of the people who are suffering. Isn’t the Democrat party supposed to be the party of the little people? It sounds like they care more about votes here, screw the people that lost their homes, we have an agenda to pass here.
Harry Reid totally forgot, or just neglected, the fact that at least one of the fires was arson. Perhaps the arsonist had sunstroke because of global warming and didn’t realize what he was doing.
I just find it sad that a politician can look at such a tragedy and his first thought is, how can this help me politically?

It’s the name of the game for the democrats. Hijack everything you can and use them for your own cause. The democrats, despite the fact that they claim to be the party for the people, don’t care much about the people. To them it’s all about reigning in control and achieve political gains for themselves and their buddies. They will always happily do this on the backs of the people – especially when there is a tragedy involved. They use emotion against the very people they should be helping. And the funny thing is that they call us heartless!

Good point, playing off emotions is exactly what the Democrats do. I once heard the two parties described this way: Democrats are the Mother party, they act as the mother by comforting you and telling you everything will be all right. The Republican party is the Father party, they sometimes will tell you what you don’t want to hear if it’s the truth.
I think that is a pretty good way to describe the two parties.
