The Ulimate Reason not to Vote for John McCain

January 27, 2008

john-mccain.jpg To all you John McCain supporters out there:

It’s obvious you don’t care about illegal immigration, or you wouldn’t vote for McCain and his amnesty policy. It’s obvious you don’t care about conservative supreme court nominations, or you wouldn’t vote for the man who has blocked the most conservative appellate court nominations of president Bush. It’s obvious that you don’t care about free speech, or you wouldn’t vote for the man that has blocked free speech right before an election, the most important time for free speech in the election process. It’s obvious you don’t care about lower taxes, or you wouldn’t vote for one of only two Republicans to vote against the Bush tax cuts. It’s obvious you don’t care about thwarting terrorist attacks, or you wouldn’t vote for the man who wanted to give FOREIGN terrorists the same rights that are guaranteed to AMERICANS under the constitution.

All you McCain supporters must agree with all of these liberal positions that John McCain has or you wouldn’t vote for him. So I will now give you the ultimate reason not to vote for him. I will give you Bill Clinton’s own words about John McCain:

“She (Hillary Clinton) and John McCain are very close,” Clinton said. “They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history, and they’re afraid they’d put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other.”

John McCain and Hillary Clinton are so close, and like each other so much that they couldn’t bear to debate each other. Isn’t that nice? It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. That statement alone should make you realize how similar Hillary and McCain are. That statement alone should send shivers up and down the backs of all those that support McCain. That statement alone should end Republican supposrt for this RINO.

The reason John McCain has polled so well with Independents is because Independents are not conservaative and neither is John McCain. It is time for the conservate revolt against the man who has sided with liberals on every important piece of legislation that has come before the senate. If you want Hillary, vote for Hillary, let us true conservatives pick our own candidate. Stop fucking up our nomination process.

Well, that answers my question, I guess sheep CAN be trained. Steve, I hope the other guys post this too, this needs to get as much exposure as possible. Let’s hope to God that Floridians have a few brain cells that haven’t been fried by all that wonderful sunshine.

Why don’t you bash the real enemies which are Clinton and Obama? Any and every Republican is better than a Democrat in the White House.

Well, I like McCain very much. And I certainly don’t agree with how you have spun the facts. And if you haven’t thought of this already, Bill Clinton is not below using reverse psyhcology to “endorse” McCain so that all the Clinton-haters heap distain on the wrong person. Hillary and her hubby are sly folks and you’re being duped.

Polls show that McCain can beat Hillary. So why wouldn’t Bill try to confuse the two or make them look the same? Polls show Hillary beating the other GOP prospects.

    So, now you know.

Excellent post, I couldn’t agree more. I just printed this off to use for the radio show tomorrow. I did a post over a year ago(http://chatterboxchronicles.blogspot.com/2007/01/when-it-comes-to-mccain-just-say-no.html) warning everyone that he shouldn’t be the nominee. Earlier in the year when his campaign faltered I thought we were done with him. If only!!

I am optimistic that if Rudy can’t pull off a win in Florida that many of us will settle for Romney who would be light years better than McCain. I couldn’t help but laugh this morning when one of McCain’s advisers said that he was the most consistent conservative in the race. The only thing McCain has been consistent at is stabbing conservatives in the back. Last time I checked thats not a good quality to have when trying to get the nomination of the Republican party!!

Basement Ideas, I don’t agree with your point that “any” Republican is better. Huckabee is a big government, tax raising liberal who will use his “compassion” to spread social programs. He will be the same as a Democrat. I agree with McCain on national defense, but that is the only issue I agree with him on. He would be slightly better than a Democrat. BTW, as far as bashing Clinton and Obama, have you read any of my other posts? It feels like I am in the business of Clinton bashing sometimes. 🙂
Jay, I don’t feel as though I “spun” these issues. I think I represented his stances factual. As far as your Clinton theory goes, it’s pretty interesting. The Clinton’s can’t be trusted, EVER. It is very plausible for them to have identified McCain as the candidate that could beat them so in turn, they turn around and praise him, drawing the ire of the right and a backlash against him. You can never put anything past them.

There is no meaningful difference between McCain and the Democrats. Even on defense when the shit hits the fan Ill bet he crumbles like a Democrat to appease our enemies.

Look at his stance of giving terrorists rights guaranteed to Americans in the Constitution. He, like the left, would apply those rights to the entire world given the chance. And the problem is that the terrorists dont play by the same rules as us.

Make no mistake about it. While the bleeding hearts give terrorists the same righst we insure for our fellow citizens the terrorists are still beheading us. This is a point the hand wringers refuse to address.

READ THIS EXERPT I GOT FROM YAHOO AND U WILL FIND MY REASON. PALIN MUGHT START WAR IF RUSSIA DOESNT RESPOND. IN THE COLD WAR, PEOPLE AWAITED MISSLES AND BOMBS DESTROYING THE EARTH. RUSSIA STILL HAS A HUGE QUANITY OF WEAPONS IN IT NUCLEAR ARSEINAL. IF START WAR, THE END OF THE WORLD THAT THE AZTEC MADE 100s OF YEARS ABOUT WILL BE TRUE. A VOTE FOR MCCAIN MEANS IF RUSSIA ATTACKS ITS SURROUNDING COUNTRY, WW3 IS LIKLY TO HAPPEN. SO IF U DONT WANT BOMBS ON UR ROOF DONT VOTE FOR HIM. HERE IS THE EXERPT. ONCE U READ IT. EMAIL OR TELL UR FRIEND this message.

FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin left open the option Thursday of waging war with Russia if it were to invade neighboring Georgia and the former Soviet republic were a NATO ally. “We will not repeat a Cold War,” Palin said in her first television interview since becoming Republican John McCain’s vice presidential running mate two weeks ago.

Palin told Charles Gibson of ABC News that she’d favor including Georgia and Ukraine, both former Soviet republics, in NATO despite opposition by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Asked whether the United States would have to go to war with Russia if it invaded Georgia, and the country was part of NATO, Palin said: “Perhaps so.”

“I mean, that is the agreement when you are a NATO ally, is if another country is attacked, you’re going to be expected to be called upon and help,” she said.

Pressed on the question, Palin responded: “What I think is that smaller democratic countries that are invaded by a larger power is something for us to be vigilant against … We have got to show the support, in this case, for Georgia. The support that we can show is economic sanctions perhaps against Russia, if this is what it leads to.”

She added: “It doesn’t have to lead to war and it doesn’t have to lead, as I said, to a Cold War, but economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, again, counting on our allies to help us do that in this mission of keeping our eye on Russia and Putin and some of his desire to control and to control much more than smaller democratic countries.”

Palin spoke the same day Putin insisted that Russia has no intention of encroaching on the sovereignty of Georgia, following a brief war that left Russian troops in firm control of two breakaway regions. Putin also aggressively defended the decision to send troops to Georgia, saying Russia had to act after Georgia attacked South Ossetia last month.

On other matters, Palin said she “didn’t hesitate” when McCain asked her to be his running mate, a surprise selection that shook up the presidential race.

Please vote for McCain! Do you really want an EXTREME RADICAL in office? I understand the economy sucks, but you need to please look at all the facts about Obama!

First of all, he is friends with a terrorist. William Aires is a terrorist. They have alot of history together. That is the First reason not to vote for this man! We don’t want someone with the most important job in this country to be in any kind of friendly relationship with a terroist!

Second, he has no record. Everyone is all over Palin about her record. Do you not realize that Palin has had to make more decisions in her positions as Mayor and Governer, than Obama has in the senate. If he becomes President he will be the final vote in Congress(which is already full of democrats), so if you don’t like some of the decisions Congress is making now, just wait for more of the same when he gets into office.

Third, He will raise your taxes and I don’t care what he is saying right now. He has voted numerous times to raise taxes. When he was running for office in Chicago, he promised to cut taxes on middle class and then turned around and raised them after he got elected. He will raise taxes on Small Businesses. That will mean job cuts. The majority of Small Businesses make more than that 250k number in a year. If he raises taxes we will enter a DEPRESSION.

Finally, he believes in a form of Abortion that would kill babies that were supposed to be aborted and survived it by some miracle. I believe abortion is ok in certain circumstances, like if a woman was raped and it led to pregnancy. But his belief on abortion is that you could take a life away from a baby that is 27 weeks gestation. That is like a 1-2 lb baby. This is way too extreme!!

If you read all of this and you are on the fence, I hope that this gave you some more education, so that you can make an educated decision in the voting booth.

I just want to say that I am not Republican or Democrat. I am somewhere in the middle. I have been studying up on the candidates to try to make an educated decision when I vote because I feel that we need the right person in office to clean up the mess that will be left behind by Bush.

You won’t hear most of this on NBC or CNN, because they have already decided who should win the election.

I am not the biggest fan of McCain, but Obama scares the hell out of me!

One final thought. McCain is not Bush, Bush is not McCain. These two men are not the same person! If you watch the utube video of Bush’s endorsement you can tell how much they hate each other, so McCain is not a big Bush supporter either!

I say this in all honesty: Poor John…
He’s tried everything, anything and anyone, even Palin. [She actually agrees with him on very few issues.] He grabbed her as VP so he could appear more conservative. She’s being used to add life to his campaign and she’s using him for political gain…especially if he should suddenly exit to the great beyond, while in office. Perish that thought, it sends chills up my spine. But… As his ploys got very annoying to me, and I put up with his flip flopping and then this VERY poor choice as VP; I realized, lets face it, she’s a heartbeat away from the Presidency. I consider this poor judgment. Thus, though having voted Republican for years, I’ve been swayed and made a hard left.
Plastic vs. Human is the way I now see it. Try as they may,
Palin & McCain just can’t seem to get a handle on campaigning without making it ugly. I truly couldn’t handle 4 years of them—the last thing this troubled country needs is mean-spiritedness, too. Calm, strong and steady appeals to me: GO O’BAMA!
