Joe Biden Says That Paying Higher Taxes is Patriotic

As you have probably heard by now, Joe Biden recently claimed that paying higher taxes is patriotic. He is using patriotism to justify a socialistic system of government.
I really don’t want to spend to much time on this idiotic statement but I do have a couple of points that I want to make. The first one is, wasn’t it taxes that led to the American revolution? From the Stamp act to the Tea tax, to taxation without representation, it was over taxation that led to rebellion.
Second, did Joe Biden mention this idea to tax cheat Charlie Rangel? According to Joe Biden, Charlie Rangel must be an unpatriotic American because not only is he unwilling to pay higher taxes he is not even paying the taxes he already owes.

It looks like we have the democrat equivalent to Quayle. Should Obama win, we’ll have at least 4 years of entertainment. 🙂

I’m for lower taxes but I think if Americans support a war, they should suck it up. We can’t have it both ways. Leaving debt to our children’s children’s children is a selfish way to live.

I’m waiting for Biden and Obama to become extremely patriotic and pay, er, donate their entire Senate salaries to the IRS.

Is it possible? Biden is more of a “Robin Hood” than Obama? Are they having a “who is more left “contest? It must be very liberating, especially for a polititian to just say whatever pops out of their mouth. Biden continues to amaze me. Now he stepped in it while his foot is in his mouth.
