Republicans Try to Tie Arlen Specter to President Bush

April 30, 2009

An interesting little twist is beginning to take place now that the Arlen Specter has finally outed himself as a Democrat. Republicans are now trying to turn the tables and use the same strategy on the Democrats that they have been using on Republicans; they are trying to tie Arlen Specter to President Bush.

Will this continue to be a campaign angle by the time 2010 rolls around? Will we still be continuing to talk about a president who will have been out of office two years by then? I hope not, it is time to move on. Bush is gone, he should be irrelevant in upcoming elections. The success or failure of the Republican and Democrat parties should lie within how the current president is doing not how the last one did.

I think it is time for the Republican party to put up or shut up. I received a questionnaire from Michael Steele and I told him exactly what I thought. Until the Republican Party stops playing politics, acting like Dems, and wins back the American people’s trust, I want no part of the party.

Maybe it is time for a “TEA” Party….

“Playing politics”?? “Acting like Dems”?? What, are you nuts? Or are you one of the socialist leftist trolls employed by Obama’s ACORN criminals, to post propaganda and garbage on conservative web sites?
Why wouldn’t “politics” be involved in…….(duh)…………POLITICS? As for acting like the Dems, there’s not much evidence of that. Republicans are more likely to operate by a strong moral compass. The Dems sneak tactics wouldn’t even occur to most of them.

I can assure you that Dominique is no socialist leftist troll. I think you misunderstood what Dominique was saying, by acting like Dems she was saying that Republicans are moving too far to the center and ignoring conservative values. That is how we got John McCain as our nominee and we see how well that worked out.

I just love when Republicans refer to anyone who isn’t one of them as “socialist”, it’s almost beautiful.

I am guessing that you are one of those fine, upstanding fiscally conservative Dems that supports the bailouts??

Socialist is one of the nicer things that Dem-Lite, Dems and RINOs can be called, at least on respectable blogs like this one!!

The Republican party is in the crapper, all we have to do is flush and it’s gone…

This is the perfect time to start the Conservative Party, the TEA Party, whatever we call it, REAL Conservative, NO RINOs, no Dem Lite, just honest American patriots and a true following of the constitution…

TEA Party? July 4th, all over this nation!

If a third party could ever be viable you could count me in right about now. Maybe this is the time when it could work.

I just heard about Jujy 4 tea parties today. This time, I’m goin’! And what I wnat to know is, what is wrong with “no”? THe new idea to revive the GOP according to the media is in part to stop being the party of no. What’s wrong with saying no to out of control spending, sky high taxes, and involutarily giving my hard earned money to people who are in the country illegaly and people who refuse to work because they are “disabled”? Are ya kiddin’ me? Maybe it is time for a third party, S. I’m in. Even though I think that the idea that the GOP is dead is in part due to MSM coverage. It’s all we have right now, we should not just agree and give up on it.
