Department of Justice Stops Georgia From Verifying Citizenship of the State’s Voters

June 2, 2009

Georgia officials have  been taking the time to make sure that the people in their state who vote are actually citizens of the United States. They have been verifying the status of voters by checking social security numbers and drivers licenses to ascertain whether the people who are trying to vote in their state are actually eligible to vote.

That doesn’t seem like a radical idea to me but evidently it does seem like a radical idea to the Department of Justice, which has ordered Georgia to stop verifying the eligibility of the state’s voters.

Georgia must now stop verifying whether the people who are voting in their state are actually citizens of the United States. It really doesn’t come as a surprise that the Department of Justice for this president would make such a ruling. After all, the president has close ties with, and is proud of his association with, ACORN, a group whose sole purpose is to illegally register voters. It is only natural that this administration would have a problem with a state requiring that a person be eligible to vote before they are allowed to vote.

Oh yeah, this has ACORN written all over it. I just wonder to what extent is the Obama admin. involved.

Maybe we should have congressional hearings into this. It isn’t the nature of the evidence, it is the seriousness of the crime. Isn’t that how the saying goes?

Huge Democratic pluralities in the large metropolitian centers would collapse if a way could be found to clean up the voter corruption. Many elections on the local, state and federal levels have been decided by undemocratic means. This is a disgrace, but at the present time I see no relief from this. Actually, things will get worse before they get better. Many third world countries have a better system of preserving voter integrity. The liberals (progressives, or whatever) will do whatever it takes to maintain power. Principles and values are tossed to the four winds. Its the old communist line–“the ends justifies the means”.

On a different note, I recently checked my page rank and it went from 0 to 4, I liked that. And its due in part to your help and someothers that gave a new blog like mine a listing on your blogroll. Thanks!

You are right, there will be no relief from this for a long time, the left has made it a goal of theri’s to register illegal voters and it will take many years to undo the damage that has been done. But we can’t even begin the process as long as someone like Obama is the president, he worked his whole youth towards this endgame.

You are welcome, I enjoy reading your blog. By the way, how did you check your page rank? I would like to check mine.
