Eric Holder is worried about Americans becoming a terrorist threat

  Attorney General Eric Holder once called America a nation of cowards, but there is something that Eric Holder fears so much that he loses sleep over it–the American people and the possibility that they will become radicalized and begin terrorist activity against the government.

It is one of the things that keeps me up at night,” Holder said. “You didn’t worry about this even two years ago — about individuals, about Americans, to the extent that we now do. And — that is of — of great concern.””The threat has changed from simply worrying about foreigners coming here, to worrying about people in the United States, American citizens — raised here, born here, and who for whatever reason, have decided that they are going to become radicalized and take up arms against the nation in which they were born

 What I find interesting about this statement is that he admitted that we did not have to worry about radicalized Americans two years ago and this just happens to be the point in time when President Bush was protecting the American people. The only thing that has changed since that time is the fact that we have elected a man to protect the people that is weak on national defense and security and because of this the American people are less safe today than they were when George Bush was the president.

  When Eric Holder made that statement he was talking about Americans becoming radicalized and turning to al Qaeda, specifically mentioning that the one thing these potential terrorists have in common is Anwar Al Awlaki. He is quick to point out that Anwar Al Awlaki is an American citizen as well.

  So while the Obama regime turns its focus on domestic terrorism it leaves one to wonder how exactly the regime intends to assure that Americans won’t have access to deadly weapons, and that leads me to think about a post that I wrote yesterday about the ATF asking for emergency powers in order to start tracking American citizens who have purchased more than one high power rifle within a five day period. Could this be part of a larger effort to disarm the American people under the guise of protecting us against our own? We also recently learned that the Obama regime is tracking the credit card usage of Americans without getting warrants to do so. And who can forget about the infamous memo released by Janet Napolitano which warned about homegrown domestic right wing terrorists such as returning veterans?

  Eric Holder is worried about Americans and we can assume that the Obama regime intends to do something about this concern. Naturally this would mean–among other policies–more strict gun control laws and like all gun control laws they only punish law abiding American citizens while the criminals remain unaffected by the new regulations.

  We know that while Eric Holder mentions  Anwar Al Awlaki by name as the person most responsible for  this new threat, the Obama regime is never going to target those that are most likely to become radicalized Muslims who join al Qaeda–they will target ALL Americans because they still are unwilling to admit who the real enemy is, as well as being too concerned about offending Muslims to take every precaution that is necessary to keep the American people safe. As a result ALL Americans–including those that have never gone afoul of the law–will be subjected to these new policies, and all of these policies will naturally infringe on our rights, liberties, and freedoms.

  I am beginning to find this new focus on the potential threat that the American citizens represent to the Obama regime to be more than a little unsettling. I honestly do not believe that there is a larger possibility that Americans will become radicalized than there  was at any other time in the past and yet the Obama regime seems intent on making this a cornerstone of its terrorism policy.
