Barack Obama gave British nuclear secrets to Russia as part of the START treaty

February 5, 2011

When it comes to foreign policy Barack Obama has gone from being woefully inept to being downright dangerous and the latest example of this is the revelation that in order to get Russia to sign the new START treaty, Barack Obama gave away some nuclear secrets of a country that once was our greatest ally–Great Britain. I say once was our greatest ally because this has to have strained the relationship between America and Great Britain.

In 2009 Barack Obama tried to convince Great Britain to give America permission to release information on her nuclear arsenal but Great Britain refused. So what does Barack Obama do? He turns around and ignores the wishes of a sovereign country and gives the information to Russia that Russia had craved for so long. Great Britain did not want Russia to have this information and while Russia may not be the threat that she once was that is not the point. If Great Britain wanted to keep Russia guessing about her number of nuclear weapons then Barack Obama had no business secretly divulging this information. He broke a bond of trust between our two nations and I find it hard to believe that Great Britain is simply going to overlook this; and how is Great Britain supposed to believe anything that comes out of Barack Obama’s mouth in the future?

Barack Obama was played for a fool by Russia during the whole START treaty “negotiations” once he gave up the one true bargaining chip he held in his possession–the missile defense shield–Russia saw that he was weak and they rolled him.

It is beyond belief that Barack Obama could stab our greatest ally in the back like this, but he has made a habit of distancing our allies while bowing to our enemies. Barack Obama loves to go around the world apologizing for America, but this is one time he really should be apologizing for America–or more correctly, his actions.

Obama is either the most inept President in our history or the most evil. Either way he is a danger to the furture of America and the world. Great catch.

Thanks! You are correct, it doesn’t matter if Obama is inept or if he is doing this on purpose, either way the results are disasterous and I am beginning to feel as if he is doing this on purpose.

I hope, that before this is all over, that charges are brought before the world to see against Barrack Hussein Obama, and his socialsitic groups, and brought before a court of law that has a “real” judge on it “and not one of those activists law writing/creating liberal one,” and hopefully found guilty. No telling what other secrets he and his cronies have given away in their insane belief that America NEEDS to be brought down.

I agree, it does seem as if Obama is trying to bring the United States down and if this is true we need to hold a trial and bring this administration to justice!

If this is proven top be true, the U.S. is done as a perceived world leader! If this President has in fact done what is charged in the leaked cables, he must be impeached immediately! Were the people in the Senate notified as required of this action? If so, why did the Senate vote to allow this to happen? Or is it possible this is another “we didn’t read the entire thing” moment? If in fact the leaders of the Senate did in fact have knowledge of this action then they do should be brought up on charges!

Again, this is alleged but something I feel is in line with the actions of this Marxist we now have in the White House. Very scary!

If the Senate didn’t know about this then it is because the Senate did not read the document and if that is the case it is unforgivable and as such they are just as culpable and duplicitous on this as is Barack Obama. Our government is letting us down and they must be stopped before it is too late–if it isn’t already too late!

When I read this I was jaw-slacked. I totally get that President Obama is anti-American and on an apology tour about our so-called ‘failures’ as a nation, but I never thought he would betray another nation.

But then again, he did give them back the bust of Winston Churchill, so maybe I shouldn’t have been so surprised.

Dangerous doesn’t even sum up what he is. He in one sense is worse than Hitler (I am NOT calling him Hitler) because he doesn’t have a core set of beliefs and because he doesn’t have those core beliefs driving him in his decisions he is basically everyone’s whipping boy.

Take a look at what he said about a mandate on healthcare and they what he said when push came to shove to get it passed. And that is one of many examples.

Steve, my apologies for not visiting a lot. Having difficulty with my eyes again. I miss you blog when I don’t come by though. Soon I will have the headset that will take my words and turn them into text, so hopefully I will be able to be online a little bit more.

Keep up the great work my friend.

All I can say, is God help us and the rest of the world.

    Scary….

First do not fret about not making it here as often as you would like. I understand that you are going through some difficult times and I appreciate the fact that you come here when you can. The most important thing for you to do right now is get as healthy as you can.
I am also shocked by the fact that Obama would betray an ally as strong as Great Britain and I embarrassed that we elected such a duplicitous and despicable person as Barack Obama to lead us.

Yes he is and considering the rhetoric that Obama and the rest of the Democrats used about Bush making this a more dangerous world, I find it quite ironic that Obama has done more in two years to hurt the perception of America around the world than Bush did in eight years.

This is a copy of a note I”m sending out:

    Dear :

After the revelation of the Obama Administrations giving secrets to the Russians of Britains nuclear arsenal, ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/wikileaks/8304654/WikiLeaks-cables-US-agrees-to-tell-Russia-Britains-nuclear-secrets.html# ) can Obama and his administration be brought up on impeachment charges? God, please say yes.

    Respectfully,

    Jon C. Randall

I would think that impeachment should be on the table, but he still has too many Democrat suporters in the Senate to make that a viable option. After 2012 however…..

Latest news is that whatever information was released was done so under the aegis of the 1991 Start Treaty. The was part of the Reagan/BushI era.

Obama asked Britain if this would be okay and they denied him so there is no excuse for him to go against the wishes of an ally.

Sounds like an act of war. Britain should consider recalling their ambassador until after 2012.

Thanks for this. I’d sent my article on this to my confidants, those who sometime comment on my articles – – – I was asking for their comments and perspectives ….

Now, after reading yours, I’ve decided to go ahead and publish mine ….. well, rather, still reconsidering, I’ll have the ability to revise in the morning should they offer something I didn’t see. Again, thanks; always appreciate your views! (Especially when we agree.) : )

The shameful act was signing this treaty. I think it refers to nukes the US sold to Britain but, either way, terrible thing.

It does refer to the nukes we have sold them but if I am not mistaken Britain doesn’t make their own, we have supplied them with what they have so this means Russia knows exactly what they have.

Barack Obama is a liability. This time he has gone one step too far. We British should pull our troops out of Afghanistan and leave his country to fill the gap. He has consistently showed his disregard and hatred to the British people.. In 2001 we (the British ), entered 2 wars to support his country, and this is how he repays us. We have lost hundreds of troops dead in these two wars, and thousands more seriously maimed. You guys must get rid of this man in the November general election. It is crucial that you do this!!!
