Gunrunner: internal emails may show gun control was the reason for Fast and Furious

  Friday night I wrote a post about Senator Charles Grassley and his statement that he suspected gun control was the real reason the “Justice” Department ordered Operation Fast and Furious to be carried out. In that post I mentioned that I believed there was no way Charles Grassley would make an assertion like this, and risk the integrity of the investigation, without there being something to base it on. I thought that he was sitting on some information and was waiting for the right time to come forward with it.

 We now may know why Charles Grassley believes the true motive behind Operation Fast and Furious was to create a crisis in order to implement gun control legislation on law abiding American citizens–internal ATF emails suggest this was at least part of the motive behind this deadly operation.

  There you have it; the federal government was looking for ANECDOTAL evidence to link weapons found at crime scenes to the United States while at the same time the federal government was forcing gun shops to sell weapons to these criminals against the will of the gun shop owners.

  This is just one excerpt from one email and we have to believe that Senator Grassley is in possession of even more damning email evidence of the true intent of the federal government. The Obama regime is turning into a rogue regime by creating crisis and manipulating the news in an attempt to  “persuade” the American people to support a more intrusive and controlling centralized government.

  The FCC and the EPA are helping the president achieve his Marxist agenda by moving forward on liberty stealing regulations–in some cases ignoring court rulings–and ICE and DHS have expanded their authority into areas where they do not belong; the federal government is tightening its grip on the American people, but the one area where they felt the grip still needed a little more tightening was in regards to the second amendment.

  The federal government came up Fast and Furious in order to cope with a problem that did not exist and because of this there are dead Americans and grieving families. This is acceptable collateral damage to the Obama regime for the end justifies the means, and in the end Barack Obama did issue an Executive Order–once the Gunrunner story broke there was no way he could get gun control legislation through the Congress without bringing this scandal more attention, so once again he has skirted the Congress and acted unilaterally to achieve his goals–which requires the very same gun shops which were ordered to sell these weapons to known criminals in the first place to track multiple gun sales of ANY weapon larger than a .22 purchased by law abiding citizens.

   Barack Obama got his wish; while he would have prefered more draconian gun control laws, and outright bans, the news of the government deliberately creating and manifesting this crisis put an end to that, but he has still managed to use this crisis to track Americans who are purchasing weapons near the border and that is a beginning. We can expect more to come in the future.
