Video: Son surprises homecoming Marine

May 12, 2012

Who doesn’t love the videos where our returning troops surprise their loved ones? If you are like me you get a little emotional watching these videos and remembering how much these families sacrifice for us. Here is a video where the tables are turned on a Marine who is coming home from his deployment.

This Marine’s son is six years old and has cerebral palsy, the doctors told he and his wife that it was quite possible he would never be able to walk. Well, he learned to walk while the Marine was deployed but the family kept it a secret. Image the surprise when this Marine watched his son walk into his arms for the very first time.

You are welcome, it is a great video isn’t it? I have to say I got a little teary eyed as I was writting my brief description about it.
