I think that is exactly what he has planned all along. He has been playing one class of Americans against another in an attempt to divide and conquer. A classic communist tactic!

I found a quote from Ayn Rand that is so very fitting for the times, I had to post it:
“We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission”.
