New York Times columnist blames Senate Republicans for the Boston Marathon bombing
First of all let me express my deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers to those who were killed or injured in the Boston Marathon bombing and to the families of the victims. I had not intended to write about this attack until more facts were known about the situation, and certainly not while the situation was still so fluid, until I read this story on The Daily Caller.
While most of us are concerned with the well being of those who ran the marathon and those who were at the marathon the New York Times wasted no time in spinning this into a political issue. The propaganda arm of the Obama regime was in full force when Nicholas Kristof tweeted the following:
Explosion is a reminder that ATF needs a director. Shame on Senate Republicans for blocking apptment
Words cannot express the disgust I have for the politicization of this attack and the lack of sympathy he has shown for the victims and their families, but this is the way the left operates–they play on emotions to push their ideology–so it is not surprising.
Honestly, I feel a little guilty myself for writing about this while the story is still unfolding but when such examples of blatant ideological and political exploitation take place I feel obligated to respond.
Would we or should we expect anything less from the shameless Obama press? Just as the killings in CT were like manna from heaven dropped into his lap as regards his war on the 2nd amendment so should we expect that this tragedy be a propellant for more of the same from the 1% opportunist in the White House.

I know that I expected nothing less. This is the way the left operates, they love to attack while a situation is ongoing in order to play on emotions and I only would have been surprised if they failed to try to do so here as well.

Don’t be concerned about writing this piece – you’ve revealed how vile the NY Times is – before the facts are in they’ve blamed Republicans – this ‘newspaper’ belongs at the bottom of litter boxes everywhere!

Thanks, I really wanted to let this story settle before writing about it but the NYT has just displayed how vile and partisan they really are and I couldn’t let it go without writing about it.

In light of the other comment, … one thing it has done …. it’s delayed or buried the flack that is (finally) building fast regarding the Obama Administration’s inaction re: Benghazi …..

So true, this will provide the Obama regime with cover for awhile while he pushed his agenda and it provides him relief from Benghazi as well.

How about this:
Feds investigating if Boston bomb attack is linked to Patriots’ Day anniversaries of Waco cult siege and Oklahoma City bombing
Patriots’ Day commemorates the first battle battle of the Revolutionary War, which took place April 19, 1776
Complete with graphic pics
Federal investigators are looking into possible connections between today’s bomb attack on the Boston Marathon and the Patriot’s Day anniversaries of the Branch Davidian compound seige in Waco, Texas, and the Oklahoma City bombing, a Justice Department source tells MailOnline.
Today’s attack took place on Patriots’ Day, which marks the first battle of the Revolutionary War and the ‘shot heard ’round the world.’ It is a day held in reverence by right-wing domestic groups and others who oppose the federal government.
President Barack Obama himself acknowledged the significance of the holiday during his briefing this afternoon.
‘Today is Patriots Day,’ he said. ‘A day that reflects the freedom Boston has celebrated throughout its history.’

I guess it doesn’t matter to them that a Saudi national is being held for this attack.

Well, to be honest, he didn’t really blame the bombing on the Senate – that’s just typical right-wing hyperbole. What he did, though, is remind us that to address such things, ATF and other federal agencies need to be properly led – and without a leader, ATF is not as efficient or as capable as it could be.
On the other hand, here’s Alex Jones’ very first FB post regarding the bombings: “Two explosions at the Boston Marathon. Let’s not forget that the FBI has been behind virtually every domestic terror plot in the US.”
May God bless us all!

If the Saudi exchnage student does turn out to be the bomber; what is Obama going to do about it?! Go bow down to the Saudi King again!
STOP allowing exchange students from Saudi Arabia from entering this country! The HELL with them!

If the Saudi turns out to be the person Obama will blame the sequester and Republicans.

If it is a Saudi, they ( Obama’s network) can blame free market capitalism’s mechanisms causing the drop in the price of oil for unhinging the sadistic bastard or bastards. And so following true socialist…oops, progressive dogma this would not be an act of terrorism carried out by terrorists but rather, an act of tragic desperation brought on by greedy capitalist who most probably own guns and could have been prevented had the second amendment been legislatively neutered by the donkeys and rinos.

At least that is how they are hoping to spin this, and they are out in full force now!

No doubt, this IS a terror attack, but by whom? That is the question that MUST be answered.. I haven’t even made a post about it, not that much known and I am not sticking my reputation out there and placing blame at this early stage of the game.. I have already seen some *thought to be* intelligent bloggers blaming everyone from al-Qaida to Santa..

I won’t speculate on this either, that only does more harm than good but it doesn’t stop the MSM from spinning this into a right wing attack.
