Is Barack Obama’s former personal White House attorney Robert Bauer the man responsible for having the IRS target conservatives?

June 7, 2013

At this point we still do not know who is responsible for the IRS targeting scandal but if we believe the testimony of two lower level IRS employees from Cincinnati the order to target conservative came from on high.

Because we have no answers we are left to speculate and former US Department of Injustice attorney John Christian Adams–who was in charge of the Black Panthers voter intimidation case who resigned after it was learned the department was dropping the case–has a theory.

He believes the investigation should center around Robert Bauer. Mr. Bauer was part of Barack Obama’s White House counsel and also served as both Barack Obama’s personal attorney and was a member of Obama for America’s legal counsel.

He has since resigned but when the IRS targeting scandal began he was front and center in the Obama White House legal team. In addition, according to this article by John Christian Adams, he was also a vocal critic of the Tea Party who advocated bringing criminal charges against anyone who spoke out against the potential of voter fraud.

The bigger question the FBI must get to the bottom of is who hatched the policy of targeting Tea Party groups that led to these crimes?  For that they should turn back to Robert Bauer.

Robert Bauer had the motive to direct IRS policy against Tea Party groups. He is a longtime opponent of First Amendment freedoms and an advocate of government-speech regulation. He also can’t stand the work the Tea Party is conducting to monitor and eradicate voter fraud, work the Republican Party and national campaigns have utterly failed to perform.

During the 2008 election, while representing the Obama campaign, Bauer sent a threatening letter to the Justice Department demanding criminal investigations of people who had the audacity to speak about voter fraud. Bauer even singled out Sarah Palin in the letter. Anyone who “developed or disseminated” information about voter fraud, to Bauer, deserved the heavy boot of a criminal investigation.  Read the letter; it reveals a nasty, thuggish, and lawless attitude toward political opposition.

To Bauer, those merely speaking about voter fraud were worthy of criminal investigation. Sound familiar?

  But wait, there’s more:

Fast forward to 2012. Again, Mr. Bauer was up to his old tricks in his second stint as Obama campaign counsel, this time targeting Tea Party groups fighting for election integrity. Bauer and his campaign hench-lawyers called state election officials, seeking to unleash state criminal investigations of Tea Party groups working for election integrity.  I have spoken with state election officials in at least three states which describe Obama campaign efforts to prompt state officials to target Tea Party groups.

Well that is quite interesting indeed. Is is possible that after he realized there would be no criminal investigations into the Tea Party that he decided to implement Plan B and floated the idea to target the Tea Party stealthily through the IRS?

We do not know at this point, it is all speculation, but it certainly seems plausible. If true it means the targeting originated very close to Barack Obama himself and this should be an avenue taken as the investigation proceeds.

Hmmm. I’m trying to think. Obama reminds of something that attracks flies.

Soon, more will sing as the finger points closer to themselves. How many will be willing to go to jail for this tyranny we shall soon see. Either way, Obama will flail as he appears clueless as to how serious his situation is.

If the option is jail with the promise of being taken care of when jail time is over) or an ‘unfortunate accident” we might not get people to talk. If they do talk it will get interesting because Obama has been coddled and protected his whole life and he is not used to peple questioning him, he could snap at some point if this doesn’t let up.

The world knows Obama was in on this, but nobody will say it without the “proof.” As with past investigations. I’m not confident they’ll ever get that proof

I am sure Obama was smart enough not to leave a paper trail, he learned after he had to seal the documents in Fast and Furious and he won’t let it happen again.

Keep in mind that not unlike the Nazi’s at Nurenberg Obama may plead that he was only following orders from the president, Valerie Jarret.
