Janet Napolitano resigns abruptly from the DHS
Today America’s Watchtower is saddened by the news that Janet Napolitano has decided to resign as head of the Department of Homeland Security in order to take a lucrative position in the California school system so that she can “play a role in educating our nation’s next generation of leaders” bringing to an end her glorious and distinguished career. She is the highest level Obama regime official to resign amid all the burgeoning scandals.
Rather than lament the loss of this great lady I thought it would be more proper to list all of her accomplishments while she was at the head of the Department of Homeland Security. I apologize for not providing all the links, but if I do America’s Watchtower could be caught by the WordPress spam filter and could be off-line for awhile (it has happened before) but I have written about all of this in the past so you can search America’s Watchtower and you should be able to find the links.
Here goes:
- Janet Napolitano’s DHS drafted the infamous report which listed returning United States veterans, as well as people who have pro-second amendment or anti-abortion bumper stickers as possible domestic terrorist threats
- While listing our heroes as possible terrorists she refused to use the word ‘terrorist’ when it came to real terrorist threats, prefering the term ‘man-caused disasters’
- She cancelled the virtual border fence
- She refused to enforce immigration laws and granted defacto amnesty to illegal aliens
- She ordered sheriffs to stop arresting illegal aliens
- She seized domain names
- She advocated the use of scissors to protect oneself from a shooter
- Her DHS bought billions of rounds of ammunition, as well as assault weapons for personal defense even as the Obama regime was claiming assault weapons were not ever used for personal defense
- Her DHS bought high capacity magazines while the Obama regime was trying to ban the American people from purchasing them
- Homeland Security may have leaked documents in an attempt to bring down Rick Perry when he was running for president
- She misled the Congress and may have perjured herself
- She claimed global warming was a national security threat
- She instituted policies in the TSA which violated Americans’ fourth amendment rights
- She eased passport restrictions on Saudi nationals while refusing to do the same for America’s veterans
- Because Operation Fast and Furious was an OCDETF operation she most likely played a role in the scandal which led to the deaths of American heroes Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata
- The Times Square attempted attack happened on her watch and her deprtment played no role in foiling the attack
- The Fort Hood terrorist attack happened on her watch
- The Boston Marathon bombing happened on her watch, and after Martial Law was declared by Massachusetts the bomber was found by an American citizen, not by the authorities
- The attempted Christmas day attack on flight 253 happened on her watch and her department played no role in thwarting the attack
- She asked people not to refer to the swine flu as the swine flu
- She violated FOIA requests for political reasons
- She supports the use of drones to spy on law abiding American citizens
In other words she was a perfect employee in the Obama regime and I am sure she will be missed by the president. As you can tell, this post was sarcastic and while I will not shed any tears with her announcement today the fact is that Barack Obama will seek to replace her with someone who is equally proud with what she was able to accomplish, and equally as radical. Goodbye Janet, we hardly knew you and yet we knew everything we needed to know.

Today’s illegals are tomorrow’s Americans and with so many of them living in California I cannot help but think that these are the next generation of Americans that she is looking forward to educating.

Obama is sinking,and maybe this is part of his reorganization. If Reid does change the rules like he is threatening the Republicans will have no say in her replacement and God only knows who they will put in her place.

It appears that her proud record of public service more than qualifies her for such a vaunted position in american academia. And kudos to the University of California for recognizing and rewarding her for the high standard she has set for those following her into public service; especially those graduates of UC. If those following in her size 12 footsteps can prove themselves inept and totally disconnected from how a rational, constitution following and respecting person would conduct oneself then she will have succeeded in passing on her tradition of trashing all that we used to be proud of. She is a disgraceful lackey pig not unlike her amateur hour boss.

As glad as I am to see her go I’d put money on Obama choosing someone just as bad or even worse than her as her replacement.

While I am glad to see her go as well we know that her replacement will not be any better, so our happiness will be short-lived. That is why it is hard to get too excited about this.

I know the tears were flowing when you wrote this post, just I know there are no dry eyes in the White House tonight as our Dear Leader suffers from the lost of his most trusted confident. She will be almost impossible to replace but I’m quite sure that Barack has feelers out to find another such defender of the progressive collective.

Sen Reid has already said he is tired of Rep blocking OB’s appointments. He wants the Dem to steamroll OB’s appointments through the Senate. However, this could be a moot issue if NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is nominated. Expect every Rep to line up to kiss his ring.

It was no coincidence (nothing is with this regime) that Reid talked about changing the Senate rules a couple of days before this announcement. He knew it was coming and so he threw this out there hoping to intimidate the Republicans to fall in line so they will have a voice in her replacement.
