Obamacare: Senior citizens losing their Medicare coverage and their doctors

November 9, 2013

During the 2012 election Barack Obama and the Democrats ran around the country claiming that the Republicans were going to throw granny off the cliff because they wanted to reform Medicare as part of Paul Ryan’s budget proposal. They claimed that the Republican healthcare plan was get sick and die, and they even released a commercial which depicted Paul Ryan pushing an elderly woman in a wheel chair over a cliff.

This was all part of Barack Obama’s reelection strategy of divide and conquer and it worked, but many of us thought it was strange for the president to make this claim about Republican Medicare cuts because Obamacare actually did what the Democrats claimed the Republicans wanted to do–cut Medicare. One party and one party only actually did cut funding to Medicare and that was the Democratic Party.

But of course those cuts were not scheduled to go into effect until after the election so many people did not realize what was going to happen once Obamacare was fully enacted. they probably should have listened to us because they are finding out the hard way for they are losing their plans and their doctors and are being forced into more expensive plans.

Private insurance companies that cover patients with government funds under the Medicare Advantage program have quietly started to dump doctors and patients because of Obamacare budget cuts.

Schkowitz, 75, who lives in a senior citizen complex near Atlantic City, would also pay more for prescription drugs under the new plan. The co-pay for a three-month supply of one of his medications increases next year from $7.50 to $54.00.

Barack Obama and the Democrats made the 2012 election a fear mongering campaign designed to frighten people into voting for them, all the while knowing what was going to happen after the election was over.

But do not worry senior citizens, Barack Obama is sorry…..

Obama is sorry, alright. Just about the sorriest ever. Did I “just about”? Obama would be singing a totallty different tune if he were up for re-election and this was an election year. And speaking of election years, those sorry senators who voted for this $hit and have to face the voters in 2014, who are now crawfishing and retreating from their staunch support of this fricking train wreck, well for them all I can say is I’m sorry, Obama style.

I am there with you, it is hard to feel sorry for these people now that they might lose reelection. Karma is a bitch!

Before counting unhitched chickens keep in mind these democrats have only to contend with beating back the republicans best known for bringing knives to a gunfight. Coupled with the GOP’s war on the conservative wing of its own party these contests for seats in the House and Senate may prove easy pickings for the left; we shall soon see the democrats strategy which should prove to be dirty and ugly. Stay tuned…

This should be enough to gain seats in the House and take over the Senate, but the Republicans will find a way to screw this all up!

When they get all the poor folks and all of us old folks on Medicade, they will have their single payer health system in America for all pratical purposes. The government is going to take care of us all the way to the grave. They know a short cut.

The next step is to force doctors to accept it then, when they balk, to do away with private insurance altogether saying it is for the “common good.”

This was the play all along. And bait people by blaming the “evil” insurance companies.
