The White House defends possible move around the Senate on United Nations climate change deal

August 27, 2014

global_warming It is being reported today that the Obama regime is considering the possibility of bypassing the Congress on a possible United Nations climate change deal. At this point we do not know what will be in the deal but the White House is now defending this idea.

As you all know a treaty must be ratified by a 2/3 majority of the Senate before the United States can enter into the agreement according to Article II Section 2 of the Constitution, so how does the Obama regime defend this maneuver?

By amending an existing treaty and making the changes voluntary, here is more:

The White House pushed back Wednesday against bipartisan criticism over reports the administration is seeking an international deal on climate change that would bypass the Senate.

But press secretary Josh Earnest made clear that the administration did not mind entering international agreements without congressional approval, if it believed it could do so.

“We would not want to enter a situation where we did try to broker an agreement that did require some sort of Senate ratification and then have that fall victim once again, as so many other priorities have, to dysfunction in Congress,” Earnest said.

The deal would reportedly “name and shame” countries that did not live up to their commitments to cut emissions. The new targets are technically voluntary, which may enable the administration to sign the agreement without the two-thirds Senate approval required of treaties.

So technically is would be voluntary however the Obama regime will try to bully other nations into agreeing to the treaty by publicly shaming them until the desired result is achieved.

We have to give the Obama regime credit I suppose because they have a knack for finding ways around the Constitution and they do not miss an angle.

Where there is a will there is a way…

G.H.W. Bush singed the Koyto? (Agenda 21) treaty in Rio, but the Senate didn’t approve it. That didn’t stop Bill Clinton from implementing the agenda and it is still being implemented.

Buzzeye. Each one of them sets the stage for the next enemy-in-chief.
Each of them digs us deeper into the pit, as if just ‘doing their job’ … nothing personal.
They’re dysfunctional in creating a healthy soul (mental health) environment – these hypocrites fly all around the world, causing exactly what they profess their trying to stop! Babbling as they go, doubled face & double speak, they are the problem.

Exactly, little by little they are absolving the constitution and this has been happening for many years.

At least they are honest about what they are doing to the constitution.

That sentence did sum it all up. “We don’t want to violate the constitution so give us what we what so we don’t have to!”

Thought this something to add: ‘Government engineered false-flag terrorism is a historically established fact. For centuries, political and financial elites have been sinking ships, setting buildings on fire, assassinating diplomats, overthrowing elected leaders, and blowing people up, then blaming these disasters on convenient scapegoats so that they can induce fear in the public and transfer more power to themselves….’ x22 report
