A new FBI domestic threat report does not include Islamist terrorism

September 1, 2014

According to this story the FBI has just released its domestic threat assessment report for the year 2013, and it states that the domestic threat level for last year was moderate and they expect that to remain the case for the rest of 2014.

The report then goes on to list some of the domestic threats, here are some of them:

They include anti-government militia groups and white supremacy extremists, along with “sovereign citizen” nationalists, and anarchists. Other domestic threat groups outlined by the FBI assessment include violent animal rights and environmentalist extremists, black separatists, anti- and pro-abortion activists, and Puerto Rican nationalists.

On black separatists, the report warned that “high-profile racially charged crimes or events” could lead to an expansion of black separatist groups. The report identified three such groups as the New Black Panther Party, the Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ, and the Black Hebrew Israelite group as extremists under FBI scrutiny.

As you can see, the report names groups on both extreme sides of the political spectrum–from white supremacists to black separatists–but did  you notice which group was missing from this report?

Homegrown Islamic terrorists. That is odd considering the Fort Hood shooting and the Boston Marathon bombing, isn’t it? They were the last two terrorist attacks on this country and they were both homegrown.

And then when you read the story about at least three Americans leaving the country to fight for ISIS you have to wonder if these are isolated events or if there is growing support for ISIS in America. It at least bears mentioning in the report, does it not?

If there is growing support for ISIS in America (and now we are hearing that three churches have been vandalized with Koran verses, and an ISIS sign showed up in Ferguson) then this is doubly troubling when you remember that last week it was reported ISIS is now operating on the border in Mexico.

While this report may have been completed before the threat of ISIS grew to the point it is at currently it was definitely completed after both the Fort Hood attack and the marathon bombing so the omission is glaring.

Does the FBI not take the threat of Islamic terrorism seriously, are they just being politically correct, or is there more to this?

Yeah, it sure looks like the FBI considers the homegrown Islamic terrorists a threat to this country like the american people consider Obama a threat to this country; hardly at all.

See no evil, hear no evil, and very definitely speak no evil of the religion of peace. They can’t worry about minor things like controlling the border when they have more important things to do like foment raicial unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.

Wasn’t it just announced that we are going to be focusing more on the DOMESTIC terrorist now? I heard it on the news, so have not seen it in print.

What they mean is ISIS and such aren’t a threat to THEM – those running the Gov. … only to real Americans, who they consider ‘the Threat’! Just like the ‘no fly list’ it’s not open to the public, and the DHS are the ones to decide who’s on it and who isn’t!

Interesting that the New Black Panther party was mentioned since Eric Holder is in bed with them.
