Wendy Davis attacks Greg Abbott over interracial marriage
I sometimes write about local New Hampshire politics here on America’s Watchtower because I can do something about what is happening in my state and I like to keep my readers abreast of what is happening here from time to time. I do not generally write about the local politics of other states because I can do nothing about it. (Technically I could send money but I have a deep-seated personal belief that only the voters of a state should contribute to candidates in that state so I refuse to do so.)
However, every once in awhile a story pops up which I cannot ignore and this is one such story.
This story is about the governor’s race in Texas between Democrat Wendy Davis and Republican Greg Abbott. Wendy Davis is behind in the polls and she is getting desperate. So desperate in fact that she tweeted that she did not know if Greg Abbott would defend a ban on interracial marriage.
Greg Abbott won’t say whether he’d defend an interracial marriage ban—troubling but not surprising from someone who defends a “poll tax.”
I am not sure why this is even an issue, is somebody in Texas actually trying to ban interracial marriage? But let that go…
There is one small problem with Wendy Davis’s attack on Greg Abbott and that is the fact that he has been married to a Hispanic woman and has been for thirty years. You would think that Wendy Davis would have known this.

It almost sounds as though she favors a ban on interracial marriage. Racist!
She’s not too bright, is she?

Sick, very sick and desperate as well.
It actually gives me hope that there will be a lot of unemployed Democrat politicians in the near future.

If other Democrats are as desperate as she appears to be it could be a great sign.

In the blue counties, the Wendy creep ads are running continuously. Wendy does the female gender a great disservice She can’t win fairly so she has to play ugly. That is now what I am coming to expect from Harvard grads.

It must be maddening to hear and see her ads over and over again. Sometimes I think that ads backfire when they are run too often.

I understand how the machine works. It sickens me. If it were not for the snippets that sheeple so readily rely on, this country might not have steered so off course. History is not a blurb. These politicians all have histories that should be viewed as works of action. What they say and what they have done are two different matters. It is that which people should be reviewing when at the voting booth. We have lost our way. Too many hold their social media content in higher priority than their future in this country.

I agree, too many people vote based on “bumper sticker” slogans released in 30 ads without ever really researching the issues.
