The IRS has recovered 30,000 of Lois Lerner’s missing emails
After claiming for months that Lois Lerner’s lost emails were most likely gone for good the IRS has notified Darrell Issa that they have recovered up to 3o,ooo of the emails in question.

Up to 30,000 missing emails sent by former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner have been recovered by the IRS inspector general, five months after they were deemed lost forever.
The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congressional staffers from several committees on Friday that the emails were found among hundreds of “disaster recovery tapes” that were used to back up the IRS email system.
In June Koskinen told Congress the emails were probably lost for good because the disaster recovery tape holds onto the data for only six months. He said even if the IRS had sought the emails within the six-month period, it would have been a complicated and difficult process to produce them from the tapes.
This is good news of course, but does anyone find it interesting that the emails which were supposedly gone forever before the mid-term election were recovered so shortly after the election was over?

Well, we may have the illegals running wild but looks like we will get ourselves a couple of great hearings. Two good pieces of news indeed. Strange, last week they hadn’t taken the trouble to find her e-mails.
The House Oversight Committee is asking embattled former ObamaCare consultant Jonathan Gruber to testify at a hearing next month on the “transparency failures” of the administration’s healthcare law.
Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) sent a letter to Gruber on Thursday, about two weeks after videos surfaced in which the Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor suggested that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” helped Congress pass the Affordable Care Act.

Looking forward to see if they can make Gruber squirm a little bit. He might be smarmy and arrogant around his peers but I wonder if he can handle the pressure.

I think the little weasel likes being center stage at the moment. Whether he sings or not, who knows, but I bet he is not as smart as he thinks he is AND if it is Trey Gowdy he is up against, he is out of his league. He is used to talking to the college heads of mush, Trey Gowdy is no college student.

OK, it’s time to cut deals. We’ve got Gruber and we’ve got Lerner. Now we need to trade immunity for testimony.

As much as I would hate to see Lerner walk away from this it is time to give her immunity to get her talking because I believe this goes above her.

Probably just took this long to go thru them all and delete the real meaty ones & adjust the wording on a couple others when needed. Most likely where the new jobs are sourcing from: WH aids as ‘clean up crews’ and masking agents.

We can be certain that they were scrubbed clean of anything that might bring Obama into the light. He may be ready to throw Lerner to the wolves, but I am pretty sure that anything that might include him is now gone. The fact that we found out they never looked for the emails before the election is pretty telling in and of itself. Now we can move on and maybe Obama is looking for, once again, something to cover for another one of his sneaky moves he is about to make. This should keep the media busy (at his ok) for awhile keeping us informed about what is in the email. Just like we always say, watch what the other hand is doing.

Yeah, it took them this long to create the emails not find them. It will be interesting to see what is in there but how do we know these are real. I do not trust this regime in the least…

It sure did take them awhile, but they needed some cover and it had to be BIG, to cover Obamacare/Gruber AND Amnesty. They said this should do it, but I think we are all skeptics now and maybe it will NOT work this time.
Boy Obama is in his limelight with the illegals, isn’t he? He is their lord and savior and they idolize him, ha!
