Is John Boehner backtracking from punishing conservatives who voted against him for Speaker?
After wasting no time in punishing two conservatives who voted against him for Speaker it is being reported in this article that John Boehner might be backtracking from this decision.
Here is more:
Some of the House conservatives who betrayed Speaker John Boehner might escape immediate retribution after all.
Boehner is in a familiar jam: Many of his closest allies want him to pummel members who defy him. The rank and file think retribution is a step too far. And Boehner’s style deters him from punishing people, even when they publicly embarrass him.
Some lawmakers and aides close to Boehner say Rep. Richard Nugent (R-Fla.) might win back his prized seat on the elite, speaker-appointed Rules Committee, and Reps. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) and Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) may even get to chair subcommittees on other panels, even though all three voted against Boehner.
I take issue with the article’s claim that John Boehner’s style deters him from punishing people because he has done it in the past. If he does backtrack it is because of the heat he is feeling and it is not due to his personality.
I, for one, will believe it when I see it but perhaps it is possible that we spoke loudly enough and to the point where we could not be ignored. And it does not hurt that Louie Gohmert promised a nasty fight over this issue.
Stay tuned…

Nothing this drunken backstabbing lying hypocrite does should surprise any of us. And the beat goes on…

This would surprise me is if backtracked but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised any more.

He is as self centered and evil as anyone on the left, wonder why he is a Republican?

Lou, I don’t think he truly is a Republican…doesn’t seem to act like it. He is looking and acting more like a puppet than anything else. Just pull his string and he says one thing then pull it again and he says another. How this clown is back in office is beyond me.

To the establishment “Republican” and “Democrat” is the same thing, they are on the same side–the side of the ruling class. They may oppose each other on the smaller issues to make is appear as if there are differences between the party but in the end when it comes right down to it they are all for big government. They just want to be the ones in control of it.

Some people have to be ‘forced’ to do what’s right, crying, kicking and whining all the way! His bosses (?) probably told him to slack off. Hopefully the clowns won’t send in the drones or whatever and take out some of the squeaky wheels. (Like the bankers … or Foster).

That pretty much sums it up, thanks for sharing. As for Boehner doing the right thing, we will have to wait and see.

I didn’t realize this is his 3rd go around. I’m not holding my breath Steve.
His evolution seems to be going back to the slime rather than a step toward what’s best. Which in his own mind is better for him, not what he ‘swore to uphold’. The Machiavellian Dialectic – their other blueprint. What’s good for the few at the sacrifice of the many.

Zip, that covers pretty much what we know, hope others see it! Love the sinister music, a nice touch to get the point across how “evil” they all are.

Thanks, glad you found it worthy of viewing time Lou. Yes, that ‘music’ has been played for many years and many generations. Seems like evil is more determined to win than ever. Regular folks just want to live their lives and abide by basic standards of living … but those foundations are being torn down by our enemies – confounding the youth and those who ‘take them for their word’ – resulting in ‘no common base of reality, values or conscience.’ People can’t just live their lives when usurping commie radicals (world order) are ruining the opportunities and replacing them w/ debt and enslavement. Teaching the masses to think like ‘psyco / socio paths is not the answer!

They are getting control of our kids for a second generation now. We can only hope we can find schools that do not support Common Core or do home schooling. I know they are trying to shut down the home schooling.
My husband and I have rentals, I had to go over a check list on a tenant that was moving to see if there was any damage done. The girl she had with her was maybe 12 or 13 and she was watching me writing. She made a comment to see If I was doing “cursive” and I told her yes I was. She had never done it, I must have looked shocked from the look she gave me. I had heard they were slowly phasing cursive out, but printing and typing on a computer, to me, is short of what you need to know. Have you heard of any other school districts that might be doing this? I think we learned in 3rd grade to “write” instead of “print”.
And you are correct, what they are doing to us is NOT the answer!

Hadn’t heard/read about that, but after doing a search, yep, there it is. Cursive is unnecessary and too expressive, so it must GO! The ‘written word’ bothers them (the World Regime), so there’s more behind it (transparency – again!) than what ‘appears’ to be justified: http://www.k5learning.com/blog/why-do-schools-still-teach-cursive-writing Interesting observation you shared! {Like parents not being allowed to help their kids w/ their homework, only the teachers are allowed to ‘help them.’}

Zip, that is why they do their homework at school and have alot of their books ON their computers. The less we know at home of what they are teaching our kids, the less we will complain, but we are finding out this stuff.
