John Boehner caves on Barack Obama’s Executive illegal immigration

March 3, 2015

john-boehner-crying Earlier today John Boehner caved and brought a Department of Homeland Security funding bill to the floor which did not cut off funding for Barack Obama’s Executive Action on illegal immigration. The legislation passed and naturally this has conservatives outraged but there is no sense in being outraged when we we all knew this was going to be the end result–I am passed the outrage stage.

This result was predetermined from the beginning: I have written time and time again that all of the Democrats and most of the Republicans are on the same side, this was just a game played out in front of the American voters and the game is known as the Hegelian Dialectic.

In reality John Boehner played his role in the Dialectic perfectly. That sentence will most likely outrage many conservatives who do not understand what John Boehner’s role was.

John Boehner’s role was not to oppose the President but rather to make it look as though he opposed the President to appease the Republican base while at the same time allowing the Executive Action to stand.

The Hegelian Dialectic, simply put, is thesis/anti-thesis/synthesis. Or if you prefer: create or take advantage of a crisis, create the opposition to the crisis while controlling both sides of the debate, and then implement the predetermined result.

Thesis: There is an immigration crisis which the Congress fails to address so Barack Obama takes Executive Action to go it on his own.

Anti-thesis: The Republicans complain about Barack Obama for taking an unconstitutional action and vow to reverse it. This whips the public into a frenzy and the people take sides as the game unfolds.

Synthesis: In the controlled chaos which ensues Barack Obama’s Executive Action is allowed to stand and secretly both sides of the political elite are happy.

However those that oppose illegal immigration in general, and Barack Obama’s Executive Action in particular, are still upset but John Boehner and the Republicans still have a little cover: They are now able to claim they did everything they could while placing the blame at the feet of the Senate Democrats and John Boenher, a la Pontius Pilate, is able to wash his hands of it while trying to console the people by saying the fate of the Executive Action is now in the hands of the courts.

This allows the Republicans to continue to raise funds off of Barack Obama’s Executive Action even though they did nothing to stop it and that is why I claim that John Boehner played his hand perfectly; as I said above, the end game was not to stop the President but only to give the appearance of trying to stop him. And while there is talk about a possible coup taking place against John Boehner that is all it is–talk. The Dialectic continues…

For those who might think I am way off base in my assessment of this situation, or will brush this off as conspiratorial talk, I would ask you to answer one simple question: why is it that no matter which party is in charge of the Federal Government nothing really ever changes?

Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium

You are spot on, as usual, Steve. The show just keeps rerunning over and over again. It’s why I’ve not been able to blog for some time now. The voters send the same people back to Washingtton 90% of the time and then wonder why nothing changes.

Thank you and until the American people wake up and realize we are being played for fools nothing will change.

75 more to dump, not that it will do any good. We just gave away America.

Ho it will probably not do any good unless we get rid of the leadership and unfortunately it does not look like that is going to happen any time soon.

I think this this illustrates the political theater played out in Washington perfectly. Both sides are in favor of mass immigration whether legal or illegal. Both sides have different goals, but the results are the same.

I confess, I have had more of a wait and see about the Rep leadership. I keep asking is this just a part of gamesmanship a la House of Cards. But if I am wrong, and it is exactly as you say, do you realize how fundamentally screwed we are? There really is no hope. If we turn on our leaders, there is no chance we will ever win in 2016. Look at the left. Anything Pelosi and Reed say, goes, without any opposition, and they keep winning.
Again I ask, are they just bad at the game and are constantly outplayed like our looser Sac. Kings? Or do they have a plan where they live to fight another day? Or do they really want the right to fail? If it is the latter, let’s just give up now and accept that America will become a bigger version of progressive California.

It is one hell of a predicament, isn’t it? The Republicans may not be in bed with the Democrats on all issues but they certainly agree on this issue–they just want to be able to get “credit” with the minority vote for passing amnesty. I have become so disillusioned by the Republicans as of late that I do not truth them either.

NO SPECIFIC LOCATION, SOME OF US GO BY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS, SOME OF US LIKE ME CALL OURSELVES CONSPIRACY REALISTS, WE ARE JUST PEOPLE WHO HAVE DETACTED OURSELVES FROM GOVERNMENTS AND MAINSTREAM, TO ARRIVE AT THE CORE TRUTH OF ISSUES. WE ARE ALONG THE LINES OF ALEX JONES, CLYDE LEWIS, AND SOME ASSPECTS OF JESSE VENTURA, MARK DICE, AND SO MANY OTHERS. WE DO NOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE CAGED JUST BECAUSE WE ARE TOLD HOW TO THINK OR BEHAVE MENTALLY. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX, AND MOST OF THE TIME OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, ARE WHERE THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS ARE, AND NOT CLOSED IN BY THE MAINSTREAM. WE ARE NOT ALWAYS PERFECT, BUT HELL WE ARE THE MOST SANE.

Well then, I guess I am already a member to some extent. I believe there are hidden hands pulling the strings and the people really have no voice and no say in what happens.

God said to Lot, when he was going to destroy Sodom, if you find just 10 good people, I will save the city. I think there are 10 good people in the Republican party currently in office in the House and the Senate. Rubio, Cruz, Lee, Paul, and Goudy are just a few. I can’t think of anyone on the left who are good for America.
There are only possibilities for the legislature. One is stupid, and one is dangerous. Between the two, I am forced to go with stupid. I see dangerous every time O-blame-a speaks.

There are a few good ones still in there, I probably should not paint them all with the same brush. I like that analogy between stupid and dangerous and there is no doubt in my mind Obama belongs in the latter category.

I have to request Steve that you use a different photo for boo-hoo Boner cry-face and the laughing Ebola commie. It’s tough enough to read what they’re up to, much less see their faces! So, here’s one for Boner the Clown for an example: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NUZ_fM-TQKQ/TJvzIoRAPtI/AAAAAAAASMk/qkdRbgMrKww/s400/JOHN-BOEHNER-clown03.jpg
There’s clown faces for each of them! Which makes reading the posting a bit nicer! Just a suggestion though 🙂 A circus, it is.

Listening to Jay Cost on the Medved show. He says there is no way Hill-a-beans doesn’t win. Once again, the left gets to sit back for over a year while the right spends enormous time and money destroying each other. Whether Boehner has turned on us, or we turn on him, the result is the same——–6 more years of “fundamental transformation” of what is left of America.

“At some point, we hope average Americans will stop believing the mistruths pushed by liberal politicians and their media allies and demand pro-growth policies based on low taxes, few regulations, stable money and free trade — the one policy mix that always works,” the editorial states.”
