Hillary Clinton used personal email to conduct ALL State Department business…but that just might be the beginning
Yesterday The New York Times broke the story that Hillary Clinton used her personal email to conduct ALL State Department business, possibly in violation of Federal regulations, and in fact she never had an official government email account. (Personally I am surprised all government employees and so-called public servants are not automatically given a government email account but I suppose I should not be surprised for when has the government ever used such common sense?)
In case you somehow missed this story here is more:
Hillary Rodham Clinton exclusively used a personal email account to conduct government business as secretary of state, State Department officials said, and may have violated federal requirements that officials’ correspondence be retained as part of the agency’s record.
Mrs. Clinton did not have a government email address during her four-year tenure at the State Department. Her aides took no actions to have her personal emails preserved on department servers at the time, as required by the Federal Records Act.
Many liberals rushed to her defense by claiming this is not anything unusual and to prove this pointed to Republican Representative Jason Chaffetz because he also used a personal email account but the problem with that angle is that members of the Congress are not subject to the Federal Records Act so the two are not comparable.
This article went so far as to point towards Colin Powell for also using a personal email account while he was Defense Secretary but there are two problems with this as far as I can tell: First; the Federal Records Act, which Hillary Clinton might be in violation of, was not in effect when Colin Powell held the office, and second; I do not remember any investigation into Colin Powell in which any requested emails were withheld.
But the former First Lady and 2016 Presidential hopeful’s dilemma does not stop there for last night Trey Gowdy made the claim that Hillary Clinton in fact used multiple personal email accounts to conduct State Department business. Here is what he had to say:
“It was not as if she had both an official and a private email account. She did not use personal email in addition to government email. She used personal email in lieu of government email,” Gowdy said. “And she had more than one private email account.”
“The State Department cannot certify that have produced all of former Secretary Clinton’s emails because they do not have all of former Secretary Clinton’s emails nor do they control access to them,” he said.
And now we might know what he was alluding to because today it was reported that Hillary Clinton actually had an entire email server in her home which was set up and registered to a man nobody seems to know anything about–except for the Mr. and Mrs. Clinton.
It was unclear whom Clinton hired to set up or maintain her private email server, which the AP traced to a mysterious identity, Eric Hoteham. That name does not appear in public records databases, campaign contribution records or Internet background searches. Hoteham was listed as the customer at Clinton’s $1.7 million home on Old House Lane in Chappaqua in records registering the Internet address for her email server since August 2010.
And there is still more:
The Hoteham personality also is associated with a separate email server, presidentclinton.com, and a non-functioning website, wjcoffice.com, all linked to the same residential Internet account as Mrs. Clinton’s email server. The former president’s full name is William Jefferson Clinton.
The plot thickens…
All of this becomes more troubling with the Benghazi scandal and ensuing cover up and with the recent accusations that the Clinton Foundation was accepting foreign donations; it makes you wonder what else was going on. But of course what difference, at this point, does it make…

How come it was Gowdy who figured it out and not the other Committee hearings before this? We have had hours of it. Gowdy is going to call her to testify I just heard. Fox had several old clips of her statements through the years regarding e-mail. The bad news is that if she ends up out we have fauxahontas to deal with.

I think Boehner is in bed with the Democrats and I think he did all that he could to make sure the investigations got nowhere. I am holding out hope that Gowdy can get to the bottom of this.

Yes, this pic is a bit better Steve! I’m sure this is nothing new and that she’s not the only one doing this, but I’m glad the unfavorable light is shining on it. Interesting that the shoe laces are being tightened within the Gov. as well, certain high up’s want to have their fingers in their lives and biz as well as the masses. Apropos quote Steve! {Obama’s blackberry comes to mind regarding this too, and the secret calls that go on on that, that aren’t taped (Nixon). I’m sure that would reveal much as to where the direction of this Country is heading – as sinister as Hill of beans}. She must have made somebody behind the veil mad, I wonder what she did. Or perhaps they prefer another candidate and that would make whomever it is very dangerous.

Thanks, Steve. I’ve had kind of a strange year. Recently, drs. think I’ve had a few TIAs or I might have multiple sclerosis. Don’t have a definitive diagnosis yet. I feel okay, very bored just hanging around my mom’s house. I go back to work Sunday. I hope you and your family have been well. 🙂
