Democratic Senator Bob Menendez indicted on 14 counts of corruption

April 1, 2015

Last month it was reported that the Department of Injustice was going to file criminal charges against Democratic Senator Bob Menendez and today the agency made it official–charging the New Jersey Senator with 14 charges of corruption.

  Here is more:

Federal prosecutors unveiled a 14-count indictment Wednesday of Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), one of his party’s leading voices on foreign affairs, charging him with using his office to benefit an eye doctor in exchange for many gifts over their decades of friendship.

After a more than two-year investigation, Menendez faces charges related to what prosecutors say were improper efforts by Menendez to help Salomon Melgen, a Florida-based doctor who was also a contributor to Menendez’s campaigns and his longtime friend. Menendez intervened on Melgen’s behalf in a dispute with federal regulators over Medicare charges and in a bid by Melgen to secure a port security contract in the Dominican Republic.

Senator Menendez remains defiant, here is part of what he had to say:

“I am outraged that prosecutors at the Justice Department were tricked into starting this investigation three years ago with false allegations by those who have a political motive to silence me,” Menendez said. “I will not be silenced. I’m confident at the end of the day I will be vindicated and they will be exposed.”

220px-Robert_Menendez,_official_Senate_photoSince the original story broke that the Department of Injustice would file charges against the New Jersey Senator there has been speculation the Obama regime was seeking retribution against him because he has been vocal in his opposition to Barack Obama’s policies on Cuba and Iran, and by saying he would “not be silenced” it seems to indicate to me that this is what he also believes to be the truth.

I am not saying these charges are not warranted or justified because it certainly seems as if they are but one has to wonder; if he was not so outspoken in his opposition to Barack Obama’s foreign policy would the Department of Injustice be more likely to make these charges disappear, like the agency is attempting to do in the case of Lois Lerner’s contempt charges?

As a NJ voter I have been highly critical of Bob Menendez and his left wing agenda through the years. A ruthless liberal democrat, Menendez is being bitch slapped by Obama for his criticism of his Iran nuclear fiasco and his emerging policy on Cuba. As a matter of principle I find myself in support of Menendez on this one. We must stand up against the tolitarianism that the Obama and his administration is spreading like a viral infection in this country.

It sure does look like there is a political motive behind this decision and if I were you I would probably begrudgingly take the same position.

He will not go “easily”, as with most other Democrats, he has the same opinion, that he is going nowhere. Schock, from Illinois, spent money on decorating, a few trips, etc. and he resigned. Kind of a big difference trying to compare the 2, but at least the Republicans resign when they are found out. Not so much with the Democrats, they go along with business as usual, for some reason no one holds them accountable for the crap they pull. This is a bit difference with Menendez, apparently he has bucked the WH and not been a good little Democrat, so he might just be shit-canned. Of course, he could always change party affiliation for cover, then switch back later, when the heat is off.

Perhaps it is the ‘entitled’ mentality… and yup, I believe he will be ‘shit-canned’ Lou…

There is a double standard isn’t there? Menendez should follow Schock’ lead but of course he is probably too arrogant to do so. He probably would have gotten away with this but he did the one thing you are not allowed to do–criticize the Dear Leader.

Schock forgot who he was when he was voted in, his head got big and he decided he needed to live the “high life” like some of the others do. He paid the price, but still, he did so much less than others have that are still in there…just that pesky double standard, you are right, Steve.

Like so many others he seems to have been corrupted by the power but at least he did the right thing when he was caught, these others are so caught up in it that they refuse to admit they have done something wrong.

Only the perfected shysters and villains keep their unstained and unblemished appearances. Those that get too much neg. attentions aren’t worthy to be counted in their ‘progressive’ ranks. Strange how only those that aren’t in the “in club” are found out or ‘ratted on’!

What do you think the criteria is for being in the “in club”?

I think the true source is the occult Lou. A person can be obsessed by money and power, but the occult puts them over the top into something really outlandish and strange. Notice today, in the movies and media, ‘psychopath and sociopath’ being used. It kind-of even ‘excuses’ them for their murders and other ugliness of thoughts and actions – stating they were born that way, as if they don’t have a say in not adhering to a moral base. It’s true we all are born with the nature of Adam (who become alienated from God thru misbelief), but this goes deeper into rank ‘decisions’ that go against the conscious given to us – inherited. There might be ‘a couple’ of ‘in groups’. Obviously Jarrett doesn’t think Hilly is in their ‘in’ group, but Hilly has her own, or is a part of a different one – or why would Jarrett put the spotlight on her? Their fallen source is the same and the goal = world gov. like daddy Bush stated when he was Prez. All very ungodly. Like the Dillion song, every one has to answer to serve somebody. I don’t Lou, it just seems like they all have some games going on between them and some are more in the loop than others. Zip, those “in groups” also think they are smarter than the rest of the American people and in some cases they are correct. Americans have been dumbed down by all the junk they are teaching in school and what they are leaving out. For the most part, they are being controlled quite easily. Then there are still the ones from our generation that know this is wrong and are fighting back. Not sure who will win this one, unless we can start opening the eyes of the 30-somethings that are getting concerned because they are having children and now they sense something is not right. I think it takes having kids and wanting better for them to make people grow up.

Yep, and they make the system harder to deal with. More rules and regulations to the point things come to a stand still. The simplest things become complex. And, like ‘Common Core’ they change the way things work (procedures etc.) that take more time and energy than necessary – causing confinement and confusion.

They create the problem and then come up with the solution and often times the solution is worse than the problem.

Of course he does, just like the Clintons did. You could not pay me enough money to be a politician in DC, but apparently there are people that have a “price” that will buy their votes and loyalty . Sad!
