Is John Kasich preparing to run for President in 2016?

June 19, 2015

John KasichI believe there is a disconnect between the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, Hillary Clinton, and the base of the party. We continue to see her trustworthiness numbers fall and the far left in the base seem to have reservations about whether she is liberal enough and doubt whether as a millionaire she can relate to the plebeians.

I also believe the base is longing and hoping for another viable candidate to come along and challenge her, that is why Bernie Sanders is not as long a shot as some people are making him out to be. But can a self-avowed socialist win the Presidency or is he too far to the left to win a general election?

If the left answers that question in the affirmative they may begrudgingly vote for Hillary Clinton unless another option comes along. Of course many of them are still holding out hope for Elizabeth Warren but there is another candidate who just might declare his intention to run for the Presidency in 2016 and that person is Ohio Governor John Kasich.

During an interview about this possibility here is part of what Governor Kasich had to say:

Ohio Governor John Kasich says that if he runs for President of the United States he’ll enter the race as a man of accomplishment. “It’s experience and record. Amateur hour is over,” Kasich tells us from the Faith and Freedom Road To Majority Conference in Washington DC.

You can watch the video by following the link I provided above but he went on to tout his economic record as Governor of a large state and his experience while also stating the time for learning on the job is over.

We have come back almost from the dead and the record is good and I think if you have that experience and you have the record, it’s not about ‘tell me’ it’s about ‘show me’ and I think its time that we’re able to support somebody that has a solid record of accomplishment because that’s what we need in America. No more on the job training.”

This could have been a shot at the current President and his lack of experience when he became President but it could also be a shot at Hillary Clinton’s lack of experience when it comes to governing. Of course it could also be a shot at most of the Republican candidates because most of them have also not run much of anything.

I would say his biggest problem right now is a lack of name recognition but if he has the right message and is able to articulate it there is the possibility he could give Hillary Clinton a scare, but of course she will have the support of the establishment and with that comes the money so it will be quite an uphill battle. Still, it will make it a little more interesting…

Can Bernie Sanders a self avowed socialist win the presidency of the United States as he has won over and over again in Vermont? Can Bill de Blasio a self avowed card carrying communist win the mayoral election in the world center of finance and trade? Can a Bill Ayers and Saul Alinsky acolyte win the presidency of the United States? Can Elizabeth Warren a known liar and race faker win a seat in the US Senate? In the land of no scruples and diminishing morals anything once out of bounds is now possible. Look what’s going on in and coming out of the White House these days.

And, can a house be made clean when the ‘strongman’ still rules? If the air in the White House is tainted can other mind-controlling elements introduced clean the air? A different mind altering drug of ‘good will to all’!

Yeah, I guess that should have been a rhetorical question… 🙂

Kasich was a household name in the early 2000’s. Today he will do little more than make it a baker’s dozen on the GOP’s dreamers list.👬👬 👬👬👬👬🚶
