The mainstream media struggles to find a motive behind the Tennessee military facilities shootings
Earlier this week Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez opened fire in two military facilities in Tennessee and the media is still beside itself (probably holding out hope this will also be labeled workplace violence) trying to figure out what could have possibly motivated this attack.
I seem to recall ISIS calling for this type of attack on American soil not all that long ago, did it ever occur to the mainstream media that this might just have something to do with it? Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez also recently visited Jordan and Yemen, might that also have something to do with a motive? (I suppose even bringing this up makes me an Islamophobe and Barack Obama would probably claim I am “jumping to conclusions.” )
Those, of course, are rhetorical questions because we know that the mainstream media know what the motivation was but are unwilling to admit it because they believe it will reflect poorly on Barack Obama and his policies, especially coming so soon after the much ballyhooed Iranian nuclear deal, despite the fact the FBI is calling this a terrorist investigation.
Of course they will hide behind the veil responsible journalism but this is the same media which did not exercise any journalistic integrity when they announced that some guy with the same name as the Colorado theater shooter was a member of the Tea Party.
In that case the media went out of its way to try to implicate the Tea Party in a shooting and they ended up with egg on their faces. Are we to believe they learned from that fiasco or is it simply that they are unwilling to admit the obvious truth in this case either for the aforementioned reason or in the interest of being politically correct? And of course this does not fit the narrative…

Steve, you attack the MSM for jumping to conclusions in the Aurora case, and then lament the fact that they failed to repeat the error for the Chattanooga shooter.
Note that we’re fairly certain about the motive for the Charleston shooting, but that’s because we’ve got tons of evidence from that bloodthirsty savage’s own writings.
Or, since ISIS issued its call before the Charleston shooting, should we assume that Dylann Roof also responded to ISIS, and not his own particular brand of bigotry?
You also jump to quite a few conclusions yourself in your assumptions about what the media does and doesn’t know.

What the MSM did after the Colorado shooting was despicable and there was clear intent there so no I do not think it is out of line to question the MSM’s motive here. ISIS called for this very type of attack, they did not call for shooting people for attending church, although I am sure because they were Christians they would approve of it.
Roof’s motive was clearly racism, there is no denying that, but I would double down and say the media might be more responsible than ISIS for that attack with the way they have been trying to fuel the race fires as of late with more irresponsible “journalism” in several cases.

I have been sick today and running fever, so have been reading ALOT! I have come to the conclusion that we need to STOP all the he said/ she said politically . I doubt that these men and woman that the guy gunned down were all one party. We need to get a handle on this as AMERICANS and not one party or the other. We better, or we are in deep shit. The people that are doing this do not care what party affiliation anyone is, they only care about IF they are anything other than their religion. I also think that Obama should have shown a little emotion, but he read a script and then went off to another fund raiser or vacation. .This Administration has become a laughing stock across the world. I, in no way, feel like he has our back or will go to bat for us as a country….we are on our own, doesn’t matter what PARTY you are now! This is just another layer on top of the border situation and the lies and the cover ups. What is the point that we finally will not listen to any more of it? I am at the point, but what about Congress? This needs to stop

I hope you are feeling better Lou, I have had a bit of a cold this week as well. The problem is, as I see it, that we have a segment of the population who do not want to admit there is a problem with radicals in Islam and we have a media too scared or unwilling to report the problem. Until we can face the truth about what we face the terrorists will have the upper hand and I think they know it.

You bet they know it. They are playing with us, at the moment, there will come a day that all hell will break out all over the country at once. Then what will we do? Sit there and wonder what happened, that is what. We can lay the blame for lack of taking care of US right there at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.(along with our voting habits or lack of voting habits)…like it or not, they have done a shit job of making sure the borders are secure. They are flying in illegals from other countries and welcoming all the undesirables with BIG benefits. We need to start telling it like it is, we are screwed if we are LEGALS. Maybe we are trying to go after the wrong people…maybe it is the MEDIA that we need to start taking it to! Change their minds and turn them in the right direction of what the media used to be like and maybe they will start doing their job. There was a time that the media would go after anything that seemed the least little bit crooked….then what??? Did they get threatened or paid off? Makes one wonder, doesn’t it? They need to start telling it like it is.

The media is full of leftist who use their position to push their personal agenda, they are not interested in sharing the news but rather with shaping opinion. I do not think they are scared or paid off, I just think it has been a concerted effort over the years to create a propaganda arm for the Democratic party and it has been successful.

Here’s your MSM journalistic integrity. Andrea Mitchell just tried to tie Mohammed Abdulazeez in with gun owners and hunters with a “gotcha” question. She has no shame.
I am passed the point where I care much about the details. We have a murderous quasi religious movement growing around the world and in our own backyards. If our local Muzzies don’t start doing something impressive (like the 442nd in WWII) it will be time to implement less gentle (think Bosnia) treatment for them.

That video sums up the bias perfectly. Did you notice Mitchell asked the question right after the guest said he was religious? Talk about trying to divert the subject! And also she was painting southern males as all being the same and I thought that was bigotry.

Dr. J., I left out that the STATES need to start taking over and shove the FEDS out of the way I think we are within our rights to do that, aren’t we? We also need to demand all those damn signs that say “GUN FREE ZONES” be taken off of the entry ways of buildings. Those are nothing but welcome signs for evil doers. I am more inclined to like the idea of wondering IF anyone in there is packing. That might make the evil doers pause for a moment before they enter. After all, they are really weak individuals unless they are packing and if you even out the playing field, they might rethink what they are planning on doing. Anyway, it is just a thought. The same goes with Conceal Carry, I bet alot of the attacks would not happen if more people were packing and the thugs had to actually wonder if they might not have the upper hand.

I also wanted to say that assimilation seems to be a thing of the past, those coming here want to colonize and be left alone. That may sound like a generalization, but I am seeing alot of those areas pop up all over America.

Assimilating and becoming part of the American mainstream was the goal for generations of immigrants. Especially with the last 6-1/2 years of the divisive politics of race, class, gender and religion, that’s gone away.

Sure it has been successful. The way I see it the more they hate us and don’t want to be here (then why are they) the more they get given to them. Is there something wrong with that picture? If they hate us SO much, why the hell are they here? Colonize somewhere else and leave our country the hell alone.

If so there is a theory about that: tin is an acronym for Taxpayer Identification Number and he represents the American worker who is worked until he can no longer function and is then forgotten about and left to die.

It seems outlandish I know. But with all these ‘Drills’ going on for ‘training’ only a deprived leadership would use them to ‘forward’ their Agenda. Those in charge have their days to observe, quite a bit different than ours! Where some of the ‘staged events’ there were no real killings, it seems now they want to please their god and shed some.

During the 8th grade here in New Jersey in 1964-65 there was a Syriann classmate Elijah Z____r who openly professed his hatred for Jews pretty much on a daily basis. A pre-teen boy living in a predominantly euro centric and Latino environment learns this hatred in either of or both places: home and the mosque. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Kids that age are impressionable. Makes you wonder what our kids and grandkids are being taught now, doesn’t it? I hear that they do not bring homework home anymore and work only on computers at school, in some places….think that would send up a red flag to me. Glad my kids are out of school, but have grandkids starting….I know alot of people are going for home schooling, but the government will make that all but impossible to do. We are screwed!

I cringe at the thought of the schools and the world in general that my grand kids are just now growing into. As for no homework this is to keep us ignorant of the nuts and bolts of their indoctrination. How long before it will be illegal for parents to look at their children’s I-pads and computers. This started at college levels when we parents paid the tuition but had no right to “breach” our student children’s privacy. We are finished as a free people.

We know what they are up to. I also wonder how much is being taken out of the history books now. I keep telling myself to go to the Book Barn where they have old books and get alot of the OLD 50-60’s history books, etc…before they cannot be found. The problem I have is, after being in there for about 10 minutes, the dust, mold and book mites have me wheezing and I do not have asthma, so I do not look forward to going in there. When my kids were school age, we had 4 sets of encyclopedias in the house, that was before they were using the computers at school (we had texas instruments computers here at home), but then we got rid of them later, could not give them away and they had been expensive…now I wish I had them back.
