The FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s State Department emails is a criminal investigation
Yesterday we learned the FBI was investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server to conduct all State Department business while she was the head of that agency however we were told that this was not a criminal investigation.
When the story broke something did not sound right: The story was being framed as if the FBI was only investigating the security of her personal email server, not the possibility she was in violation of Federal law. Why would the FBI open up an investigation into a possible violation of Federal law and then state that this was not a criminal investigation?
The only answer I could come up with was that this was nothing but an effort to provide Hillary Clinton with cover for her political campaign. If and when the email scandal came up during the campaign the former Secretary of State could simply state “the FBI has already investigated this issue and found no criminal activity. This is a dead issue and part of a vast right wing conspiracy.” But of course the FBI would have found no criminal activity if they were not looking for any.
However, if this story is true, the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server is indeed criminal in nature. Here is more:
The FBI investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsecured e-mail account is not just a fact-finding venture — it’s a criminal probe, sources told The Post on Wednesday.
The feds are investigating to what extent Clinton relied on her home server and other private devices to send and store classified documents, according to a federal source with knowledge of the inquiry.
“It’s definitely a criminal probe,” said the source. “I’m not sure why they’re not calling it a criminal probe.
“The DOJ [Department of Justice] and FBI can conduct civil investigations in very limited circumstances,” but that’s not what this is, the source stressed. “In this case, a security violation would lead to criminal charges. Maybe DOJ is trying to protect her campaign.”
So maybe it was simply being framed in a way to make it appear as if it is move along, nothing to see here when in fact there is an ongoing criminal investigation.
There is no doubt in my mind at this point that a criminal investigation is warranted but of course in the end it will be up to the Department of Injustice to prosecute if it appears as if there is any wrongdoing here so I am not holding out much hope anything will come from this, however there is recent precedent:
she risks prosecution under the same misdemeanor federal security statute used to prosecute former CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, said former federal prosecutor Bradley Simon.
And if Bunkerville’s theory is correct and this is all being promulgated from the White House it could get very interesting indeed…

Smoke & Mirrors. FBI is DOJ controlled, per Lynch, via, Obama. Nothing, will happen to Hillary. It would tie Obama and Holder in gun smuggling, murder, destruction of property. If ever, Hillary were flipped by a legitimate investigation, there is no telling how deep, and how far the scope of the investigation would in fact be broadened. Political consequences domestically and abroad would be damaging to the US into the late 23rd century. White wash, or swept under the carpet. That is all that we will see of the entire affair.

Thanks for the shout out. I too doubt it will reach a criminal charge, but having the possibility floating in the wind is devastating to her candidacy. This constant drip indeed could make this very interesting. Especially of in the end good old Joe decides to give it a run.

OT, has anyone noticed that there are Governors that are starting to terminate state funding for Planned Parenthood? That is a step in the right direction until Obama steps in and does a EO to force them to give our money to PP. We know that will be forth coming.

Here in New Hampshire the Executive branch consists of the Governor and a five member Executive Council. The EC has to approve all spending bills, state contracts, and gubernatorial appointees. Yesterday the EC voted to end the Planned Parenthood contract with the state, the governor is upset but there is nothing she can do about it.

There you go again Steve with a picture that taints a Good Morning!!! Ugh. Anyway, you do what you must to make the point. What caught my eye: “Clinton’s unsecured e-mail account”. It was probably ‘very secure’ and that’s what rattled them – her preforming a ‘transparency’ that trumps their transparency. How does this connect to NSA – who we know had access/monitoring? There must be some ties w/ certain individuals in high places; maybe someone there leaked it to Jarrett or whoever on Bari’s team – they have to have their moles in all these secret agencies. And, who was Hilly communicating w/ that she wanted to keep secret, as well as WH staff that she was keeping ‘records’ of incriminating information on? Are we to believe she shut everything down because of this? More likely just relocated it. If that’s what she’s doing, she probably not the only one (hidden digital Nixon tapes). The Gov. server is probably more for show and employees using it for their own ‘free’ personal email service. Who has access to the Gov. Server and all it contains and stores up? Who gets to ‘see’ all those communications? then send out the suits or contractors. Her getting tagged is one thing, but what’s below the surface.

All good questions, Zip, of which I do not have the answers. We know Hillary thinks she can stay one step ahead of us and she has. But, now, there are those that maybe do not think she is right for the WH and maybe they just happen to have info they can put out. Is anything ever really “safe” anymore that someone else cannot get into? I doubt it. I know Obama has tried to stack the different departments with like minded people, but surely there are a few left that have been laying low for just the right time to bring out incriminating information!?! Guess we will have to wait and see. There is no one on the Democratic side that I would like to see run (dah), but what they have peeking out at us are as bad or worse than Hillary. I probably will loose all rational thought IF Al Gore gets in the race. What a tolal scam he has played on Americans and the money he has made doing it.
We are being kept on overload with current events and I have to sometimes wonder if they are man made just to keep the pot boiling, you know? I just read another officer shooting, this is becoming normal, it seems. I know alot of good police I would hate to see anything happen to, just because someone like Louis Farrakhan wants to call for the killing to commence. Where is the outrage or the arrests? Does everyone in authority have their heads up their butts? This world, under this administration (not just this one only), has become on a faster track to hell for the hard working people of America. Any hint of making life easier for the middle class has long ago disappeared. We are the ones holding up the Welfare State right now and the burden is getting too heavy for us. Are they just waiting for our shoulders to give out and then they swoop in and take over? That seems to be the plan. Where do we go from here? There is a question to you Zip, although I imagine you do not have an answer for me either! 😦

Well, (as Ronnie use to say 🙂 we know where it’s going if those who can do some good don’t! It seems we’re on roller-skates – the old fashions one w/ no brakes! One shoe’s wearing socialism/commie- ism and the other fascism/dictatorship. We need to get rid of those skates and put on different ones – Truth & Constitution! How to do that? For those who can do something to DO IT! – God inspired soul – men & women of renown!
3 green military copters few overhead a bit ago. They use to fly along the hillside, now right over the town. They probably saw me looking at them thru my binoculars! The trickle-down phenomenon, the characteristics of the leaders become mimicked by the under-ees – disregard for others and ‘conditioning’ people to expect it as normal.

Yep, Tanya Tucker! Well, now that they saw you, you are a marked man, you know that, don’t you? We have a reserve unit at our airport that do fly overs,,,,sometimes green, sometimes the dreaded black choppers….and sometimes the life flight. Those I like they are transporting to other hospitals….wanted to be a flight nurse at one time, things changed, but would still have been neat…only room for you and your patient,,,,if something happens you are on your own in a limited space.
We, here, all want something to be done, but have limited ability to change things. We can hope that someone in the lime light will step forward and the Media will flock to them with their cameras….that might be our only hope.

I am on vacation and the remote for the TV in our room doesn’t work so I only have on station. We managed to tune in the debate using a smartphone and Fox News radio but I have to admit I didn’t make it through the whole thing–just too tired.
