Hillary Clinton comes out against Obamacare’s ‘Cadillac tax’ provision
In what Politico is calling “a major break with the Obama administration” Hillary Clinton, in an effort to endear herself and her struggling campaign to the unions, called for the repeal of a major staple of Obamacare–the Cadillac healthcare plan tax.

“I encourage Congress to repeal the so-called ‘Cadillac tax,'” she said in a statement. “My proposed reforms to our health care system would more than cover the cost of repealing the Cadillac tax, while also reining in skyrocketing prescription drug costs and out-of-pocket expenses for hard-working families. As president, I will continue to fight to make our health care system more value-driven and cost-efficient, and to drive down costs for patients and families.”
This tax has had a sordid history: You may remember that during the 2008 election John McCain actually proposed the tax and for this he was ridiculed by Barack Obama and the Democrats who declared wealthy Americans should pay for the plan rather than working class Americans (because the costs will be incurred by them in the end) who manged to obtain a good healthcare plan.
However, upon taking office Barack Obama flip-flopped and decided to support the tax. But the unions opposed the tax so Barack Obama floated the idea of exempting unions from the tax. (Coming from the party which supposedly believes in being fair it is hard for me to wrap my tiny brain around the idea that one group of Americans can be taxed for a policy others would not be even if they are in the same income bracket, but I digress…) This is how he got the support from the unions for Obamacare but of course that exemption did not happen and the unions are not happy.
In rides Hillary Clinton to save the day! She sounds an awful lot like those dreaded racist Republicans who only oppose Obamacare because of the color of the President’s skin but of course the media will not portray her in the same light. The mainstream media will portray her as a woman who is standing up for working class Americans. Funny how that works, isn’t it…

Let’s all hope when the caliphate reaches our shores the first thing these 7th century animals do is tear down the walls of the elites gated community’s. Let them be the first to enjoy what they are intent on visiting upon us all. Once the elites are done away with they will go after the academics and professionals. With no doctors left we will finally be done with Obamacare. Phew, and we thought we could never get rid of it.😀

Reeks of politics to me and it probably will work. You would think the unions would learn their lesson after Obama but I doubt they have.
