What is brought to mind is the overwhelming sense of national unity and cohesiveness, it was real the omnipresent aura of brotherhood felt by all towards and between all Americans regardless of race, political affiliation or religion or social standing and how foolishly a naive and forgiving nation elected to the presidency a stealth practicing Muslim who succeeded in dividing america by wealth, religion, race, sexual preference and political affiliation. It took a mere seven years for america to forget .. Que domage. It seems it took the French less than a month to forget. C’est domage.

The unity never lasts, does it? Eventually people forget but it seems as if it happens more quickly now as all of these attacks become opportunities to push a political agenda. The reason why I have not written anything about the attack in California is because I refuse to get caught up in a political game in the midst of such a terrible tragedy.
