The State Department admits some of Hillary Clinton’s emails are ‘too damaging’ to release

January 29, 2016

Hillary ClintonNews broke earlier today that the last batch of Hillary Clinton’s emails would be delayed until, conveniently, after the Iowa and New Hampshire elections due to the recent snowstorm. When I first read this story I intended to write a post which, to summarize, went something like this: With each new State Department email release the news keeps getting worse and worse for Hillary Clinton heading into the primary elections so it is not a stretch of the imagination to believe that the last batch would have contained the most damaging emails of all. So naturally the State Department would find a convenient excuse to delay the release of the emails until after the first two states had voted in the elections and the recent snowstorm provided the much needed cover.

However things have changed with this new story which came out a few hours later: The State Department has admitted and the Obama regime has confirmed that some of Hillary Clinton’s emails are so damaging that they will never be released due to national security issues.

  Here is more:

The intelligence community has deemed some of Hillary Clinton’s emails “too damaging” to national security to release under any circumstances, according to a U.S. government official close to the ongoing review. A second source, who was not authorized to speak on the record, backed up the finding.

The determination was first reported by Fox News, hours before the State Department formally announced Friday that seven email chains, found in 22 documents, will be withheld “in full” because they, in fact, contain “Top Secret” information.

The State Department, when first contacted by Fox News about withholding such emails Friday morning, did not dispute the reporting – but did not comment in detail. After a version of this report was first published, the Obama administration confirmed to the Associated Press that the seven email chains would be withheld. The department has since confirmed those details publicly.

The decision to withhold the documents in full, and not provide even a partial release with redactions, further undercuts claims by the State Department and the Clinton campaign that none of the intelligence in the emails was classified when it hit Clinton’s personal server.

With information which is so sensitive that the State Department will not even release redacted versions of these emails it seems highly unlikely to me that these emails were not marked classified at the time they were sent but I am sure that is precisely what the former Secretary of State will claim.

But even if these emails were not marked classified at the time they were sent is still does not matter because as the head of the State Department it was Hillary Clinton’s job to understand which emails were considered born classified even if they were not marked as such and it should not take a genius to figure this out–much less the smartest woman in America–but apparently she was not smart enough to discern which emails would fall into this category.

I believe that because these emails are “too damaging” to national security to be released even in a redacted form today that is is highly likely these emails fall into that born classified designation and Hillary Clinton should have understood this from the beginning. If she did not understand this then she was too inept to hold the position of Secretary of State in the first place and of course that would mean she is not competent enough to be trusted with the nation’s secrets as President of the United States.

Given Hillary’s famously lax security on her private server, to quote her “What difference does it make?” The Chinese, Russians and Iranians are probably using her confidential emails like trading cards.

Yep, it makes no difference now because it is already to late!
