Sunday, March 13th open thread: ‘The Killing Moon’

March 13, 2016

open-threadHere is the open thread for Sunday, March 13th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Last week we covered 10 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles I probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!

Here is Echo and the Bunnymen performing “The Killing Moon” live in 1984.

Here is a Trump ad. Shades of LBJ vs Goldwater and the imfamous atom bomb ad. How much clearer does it need to be to see Hillary is evil.

How else can the Globalist (of which she’s a part) destroy everything, hide out in their underground bases, then rebuild up from the ashes (they speak to this time and time again in their propaganda movies), like the Phoenix rising – into their new Utopian life (Nimrod – Tower of Babel revised)! People of the world don’t want war (except from those pawns who profit from it), but those who do happen to be in positions of power currently.

If they want war we will get it and we are just electing a puppet to carry out the plans which have been hatched years ago…

Sad but true Steve. These things begin in the spiritual realm and are manifested in the physical. Thoughts that are dictated by forces that the entertainment make inviting, and sound enticing and luring: the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (considered cool). Which all sounds so far fetch, but when we watch it on the ‘screen’ we can ‘see’ it being acted out on the stage of life. The elections being another arm or tentacle.

How odd is it that the anti-war left is ignoring Hillary’s record in the middle east and the fact that she voted for the Iraq war?

    From antiwar.com
Israel and American Politics: The Big Breakthrough

    “Which candidate said the following?

“As president … there’s nothing that I would rather do to bring peace to Israel and its neighbors generally. And I think it serves no purpose to say that you have a good guy and a bad guy.

“Now, I may not be successful in doing it. It’s probably the toughest negotiation anywhere in the world of any kind. OK? But it doesn’t help if I start saying, “I am very pro-Israel, very pro, more than anybody on this stage.” But it doesn’t do any good to start demeaning the neighbors, because I would love to do something with regard to negotiating peace, finally, for Israel and for their neighbors.

“And I can’t do that as well – as a negotiator, I cannot do that as well if I’m taking … sides.”

Okay, I’m going to give you a few moments to contemplate the answer. I mean, here is a rare example of a Republican candidate speaking reasonably, rationally, in a statesman-like manner about one of the most controversial issues in American politics. Here is someone who is defying the bipartisan consensus on Israeli-American relations, which is that we must always give unstinting and unconditional support to the Jewish state. Here is an outright abrogation of the conditions of the so-called “special relationship,” that one-sided love affair that dictates Washington must kowtow to Tel Aviv and ignore the horrific conditions under which Palestinians have been condemned live.

Okay, you’ve had enough time. So what’s the answer? Who would dare to step on the third rail of American politics and defy the Israel lobby?

The answer has to be Donald Trump – doesn’t it? And indeed it is.”

CJ, I know alot of people do not like Trump, he is not establishment! I saw him at the rally about 2 months or so ago, in Springfield, Il., he was great and had a “presence”. I guess, one has to look at who the establishment wants to take out at all cost and I believe that is the person to back. They are deathly afraid that IF he gets in the fun stops for them. What have we put into office? When another Republican wants a party candidate out of the running and say they will vote for Clinton, just flat out amazes me! How can anyone respect that person or vote for them, ever again? Things have to change, we know that, we also are not stupid enough to think they will all of a sudden be interested in doing what is right for US. The establishment has shown their colors and they are not REPUBLICANS to me anymore.

The Republican establishment just does not get it, they have underestimated how pissed off the voters are with them. This is what has led to Trump’s rise and now people of their own blindness to the will of the voters they cannot stop him.
I do not like Trump, but I do understand why so many people do. I am as anti-establishment as the next guy but I just do not think he is who he says he is. Of course none of them are for that matter…

Will try and check out Wolf Hall, it must be new on BBC? Wonder if it is on the order of Reign? That was a good series and set in the same time frame. The first 2 you posted were interesting songs.
Any better today, SDL? Did you get moved back home?

I had not heard that song by The Cult before, it is quite a bit different from what I have heard by them.

This is what I learned to expect out of Chicago! I am sorry to have to live in Illinois but “downstate” as we call it, is mostly Conservative….however, you get the animals and college kids that have heads full of mush that pull this crap. (were they paid?)….the videos will be enough to see what goes on…the article is a good one, as well…..You know, IF these kids ever grow up, they may see how damaging their actions were yesterday and may regret it….with age comes wisdom, as they say.

Downstate Illinois seems to be quite a bit like upstate New York. Both states seem to be defined by the liberal urban areas but there are many conservatives in the majority of the states who have their voices drowned out.

Then there’s Michelle Fields, maybe she’s being paid by some Soros’ group too who knows!
‘Michelle Fields, a Brietbart reporter, intentionally followed Donald Trump to get security to respond. When she was stopped by security – an event she smiled all the way through (and you can clearly see all of it in the video) she was handled professionally and has no reason to complain about anything. You have GOT TO see this video and disseminate it, this slander attack about Trump backing abusers will only boost trump because THEY ARE BUSTED, the lie could not possibly be any more clear.’

In her interview w/ Fox you can see her mouth contorting indicating her lying spirit about this. So young, middle age of whatever, paid or not paid, vindictiveness is there for some reason! AND wherever we live, there’s the pros and cons. Hope your Spring’s bright and cheery!

From what I have read, this is not the first time she has put up something like this happening….as for trying to throw her on the ground??? Ha! It just looks to me like they were pushing their way thru a crowd and alot of time you put your arms up to just get thru, I did NOT see any indication on her face that she was “man handled” by such a BEAST! A bruise? Well, guess you have to accept the fact that in a crowded area, you might get pushed past…nothing to see here, but I am sure Trump will be a fault.
