Ted Cruz drops out of the Presidential race
After a disastrous showing in Indiana earlier tonight, and coupled with multiple stinging defeats in recent weeks, Ted Cruz announced a few moments ago that he is suspending his campaign. This should clear the way for Donald Trump to secure the Republican nomination for President before the convention, John Kasich has no chance at stopping the billionaire businessman on his own and even with the help of the Republican establishment the chances of stopping Donald Trump are all but gone.
I was probably not going to vote for Ted Cruz if he was the Republican nominee but this seals the deal, if my choices in November are between either two New York liberals or one New York liberal and one Vermont socialist then I have also officially dropped out of the Republican race.

Call Trump what you may, he is still an American capitalist, emphasis on American, while Hillary will do her best to destroy what little crumbs of America Obama has left behind Lets get real.

I am willing to give him a shot at it, Peter! I do believe he can be as ruthless as Clinton and while I would not ordinarily want someone to be that way, I think I will make an exception in this case. The Clintons feel they are entitled to this position and if they make it, it will be the ruin of America. I find it odd that most people do not see Hillary Clinton for what she is. Take your pick on the labels for her, she is a big mess of evil, nasty, crooked names and has been for years. While I have always been a Republican since I registered at 18, IF I saw the Country going down the tubes and I was pretty sure it was my party doing it, I think I would have the intelligence to back away from them and take another path. Why is it, that for the most part, once a Democrat always a Democrat, whether they know who they are about to elect will do HARM? The Republican party has some changes that need to be made IF they are to hold together. The elites have taken over and I am not happy about that. Do you think that Trump getting the major votes he has had will be an eye opener for them OR do they go along, business as usual and have the party implode? My guess is that they have not learned their lesson yet. I think they will still try and pull what they need to, just to barely keep control of the House/Senate, but still having the left calling the shots….after all, they just cannot do anything about that!
Once Trump takes Clinton out (what I am hoping for), I can foresee a change in alot of attitudes. They will not be able to get away with what they have been doing without consequences.

The only positive of a Clinton win will be watching the destruction of her sickophants. Unfortunately we who know who she is will accompany them on that long march to the re-education gulags.

Yeah, I guess that is the one thing he has going for him. That and as Lou said he might be the only one who will not be intimidated from attacking Hillary, that is unless by theory about him is correct. I hope I am wrong…

I guess we will know soon enough but it is interesting at this point that the GOP race is over while the Democratic race, which was supposed to be a coronation, is still be fought out. At least this will give the GOP some time to unite while the Democrats could be divided right up until the convention.

We don’t usually see that kind of trouble in the Democratic Party, of them eating their own. It is somewhat refreshing!

He has said he will name the Court nominees prior to the election. If they are true conservatives I don’t see what we have to lose and a generation to gain of control of the court.
